Meaning of dog ears

What do you mean when you say dog ears? I know what are the ears of a dog, but I don't know the meaning in the context of pennis implant.

Imagine bending a plastic straw and it forms a sharp crease. The same thing can potentially happen with the cylinders of a Penile implant. I had a show and tell with a guy who had a Titan and it appeared his surgeon inserted cylinders that were slightly too long. Because the cylinder were contained within his penis, they folded and created dog ears. When this happens it punches the skin so it is uncomfortable. That guy ended up having another surgery and was regifted with the correct size. I believe when a well endowed man has his implant deflated, the weight of his penis hanging down can also cause dog ears.

Well, I guess I am well endowed then! I just got back from my doctors post op visit on Friday and I asked him about the kink in the right cylinder and he said it was a dog ear
and was common with the Titan implant. He also said it would get better with time and may take up to a year. I had/have Peyronies and for that and my penis length (7.25 pre ED) is why he chose Titan. I still have a bend when deflated but about straight erect.
I am at 7" inflated with more to come yet.

I am a short guy (12 cm erected when I was 20 years old, 10 cm in the flaccid strech test previous to implant) and I have a little of dog ears too, mainly in left cylinder, but some in right too. By the moment, it doesn't appear to be an inconvenience, but my pennis still aches (7 weeks since implant) and I cannot know exactly why. Pain comes from tip and base an ears are in the middle.

My implant is Titan, 20 cm + 1cm rte. And when fully pumped, the ears dissapears, and pennis is 9,9 cm long.

I was using a relative term to suggest when the implanted deflated penis is heavy enough to hang down further than the tubing would on its own, a kink (dog ear) can occur.

oneperson, I don't like the sound of the pains you're having. Unless you had pre-existing issues, I don't think pain is normal after 7 weeks.

Thanks tomas, I think so. While the pain is perfectly affordable when I do nothing and it is not constant, the extremelly painful sex has been has worried me. Another mate has told that he needed 3 months to be able to make sex, and that has calmed me, but anyway, tomorrow I will call the doctor to date an appointment, I won't wait till the planned one, in 18th November.

I am 8" when erect, 3" when flaccid. Does this mean that I will have dog ears/kinks like crazy when I get the Titan? Oh crap:(!
