The one year anniversery came and went last week so I thought it would be a good idea to update my situation. I have had no problems with my implant, its working fine and my wife is very happy with it . I will say to all the guys that are on the edge of going forward don't worry if you have picked a good surgeon you will be happy with your results. There is no substitute for the real natual thing and there never will be but a well fitted implant is going to make the new normal very acceptable and enjoyable for both you and your partner. The first few weeks are difficult the trama from the operation the unkown and the new feeling of something very different all adds up to anxiety that will resolve itself over time. For me I was fortunate to have had my surgery done by one of the best and I think that is why I recovered so quickly. I have had no issues other than a little soreness if we have sex four or five days in a row.
The pump works fine, the deflating took a little to figure out but its second nature now. learning to move the pump around a bit to not be squeezing in the same spot helps also. I'm very satisfied with the size the girth and the abillity to reach climax. My advice to anyone thinking of an implant is if your not able to achieve a natural erection or use pills to then skip the injections and go to the implant. I know that there are others that may be happy with injections but I believe there are too many problems that come with injections they were not worth the effort for me.
