Hey,

Anyone who had venous leak tried an endovascular embolization before get an implant?

What is the success rate?

32 years old. ED all of my life alleged by venous leak.
Surgery 05 Feb 2020 by Dr Roselló (Spain)
Titan Touch 20 cm + 1,5 cm RTE
Absolutely satisfied

If it was so good and it worked well, people would be going for it all the time.... I don't know of any success rate to be true.

As long as I have read, if the venous leak is minor and well localized, the embolization has good results. In all other cases, doesn't, only implant can solve it.

In the webpage of Dr Rosello, tell it well: Nuestro equipo médico no recomienda la cirugía reconstructiva salvo en casos muy concretos en los que la lesión vascular sea muy leve y esté localizada.

For non spanish: Our medical team doesn't recomend reconstructive surgery unless very particular cases in which the venous leak is very minor and well localized.

Don't be afraid, go to the implant.
Implanted September 12nd 2019. Coloplast Titan OTR 20 cm + 1 cm RTE. Dr Cruz (Spain). Liver transplanted. Born in 1967. ED since 24 in different degrees. Pills stopped working in March 2019. Injections caused much pain.
