AMS 700 CX vs LGX

Postby jisherwood » Sun Oct 27, 2019 10:38 am

How many guys implanted with with a AMS 700 CX wish they were implanted with the AMS 700 LGX? I was hoping for the LGX but doctor used his Discretion to implant with CX. I mentioned I would prefer the LGX but he said put my trust in his skills to know which one will work the best. Don't get me wrong I am very happy with my implant but just wish i had more girth than I have.

I am scheduled for implant surgery in a January and my mind is already toying with me about losing inches in length and girth. I have lost 3/4 inch in length this past year. Does everyone lose length when the are implanted? If so why? Can anyone explain why you lose length? I have always had a nice size dick. Gifted in both length and girth! Losing just 3/4 inch this year I can tell has really worked on me mentally. I will just be happy with a dick they gets rock hard that I can use without having to inject anything whenever I want. I appreciate any feedback you guys can give me on this length issue. I will adapt to whatever and be thankful.

P. S. I meant to add that my surgeons implant of choice is the AMS 700. I too would prefer the LGX but cannot tell the surgeon what to do. He already knows I want all the dick he can help me to have! He understands guys. I ask him this week during my consult if he pushed the envelope to help guys have all the dick they could have? He answer was yes because he had never had a guy come in and ask for a smaller dick. My response was right on! I feel good about him doing my surgery!

I have the AMS700 and have never looked back or questioned the doctor's choice! I have NOT noticed any change in length or girth and am so happy, I don't think losing anything in either size would affect my outcome. So pleased am I that I love talking to men and couples about what a difference being able please my partner has made.

My surgeon initially said he was going to use the AMS 700 LGX, but he said I was longer than he thought so I was implanted with a 21 CM CX + 2 RTE’s. 21 to 23 CM seems to be the magic number from what I’ve read. Anything over 21 CM will need to be more sturdy like a Coldplast Titan. My surgeon said that using the LGX at my length would make it unstable and subject to fold during penetration. I thought he was full of shit at first then I started to read up on it and it’s a typical surgical adjustment when using AMS devices. The CX is more sturdy like the Titan. I’m
Only a month and 21 days from my procedure. I keep hearing it will get better so I’m trying to be patient.

My surgeon claimed (mistakenly imo) that cylinders 18cm and longer would be unstable.
He put in the CX and I actually don't like it (yet).

It works fine, but I have a persistent dog ear that worries me.

Yes, I wanted the LGX but surgeon implanted CX. He said I needed it because of the extent of Peyronie’s disease.

Interesting comments about folding of AMS longer than 21cms. I ended up losing an inch in both length and girth. My wife notices the difference in size, yet loves the fact it is the Energizer Bunny. Not as furry though!

Same thing happened to me. Wanted the LGX but got the CX. From what I understand is the CX gives you more girth than the LGX and if they get the length correct you have just the same amount of length as you would the LGX. I too would have liked more girth, however my Dr. tells me neither the LGX nor the CX would have made any difference. I would have needed to go to the Titan. I didn't go with the Titan due to the fact that your flaccid length is your erect length. It's hard enough to hide the CX now. I boat and swim a lot so I'm always aware try not to show too much.
