Newly implanted; barely mobile

I was implanted with AMS700 lgx 10/18, it’s been 8 days though swelling had gone down a bit, I have hematoma on my perineum, lower scrotum and big hematoma by near the left tip of my gland, the scraping of clothings or bare skin is just unbearable it’s keeping me from being mobile(not good because I cannot take walks) and the swelling on perineum prevent me from being able to simply sit on a chair, I was left partially inflated, my doctor is on a conference till first week of November and I felt so helpless. Anyone experience this?

Does your doctor have someone covering for him/her while they are out? I would call the office on Monday morning and find out ... I don't think the hematomas are normally part of the process.

8 days is very little time. It is not good to be in bed all time. If the scraping of clothes are unbearabable, take short walks nude. I am 6 weeks and two days and still have inflamation and some pain from time to time.

The hematoma at perineum is normal too. I had too, and I could sit only at the edge, trying to keep the zone out of contact with chair, or putting a soft cushion.

Also, I needed a sustainer during two weeks to be able to walk wihtout pain in my scrotum. A very big pain.

Keep calm.

Thanks, what type/brand supporter are you using, I tried a few from amazon, they all seems to irritate the swollen surface, I did also tried the David Archy everyone talking about, better but still hurt, I are so glad there is FT, I’m sure there are thousands also reading but not registered.

I haven't been implanted YET, but maybe a suspensory might help. They don't seem to be available retail, but are on Amazon. Google it and see if you think it might help ease the pain. Just a thought. Hang in there.

I can't tell you what suspensory I bought exactly, because I bought in a Farmacy, not online, but it is something like this:

https://www.queralto.com/16319-suspenso ... godon.html

It is far away of comfortable, but at least I could walk without pain. I was wering it for 3 weeks before I could walk without it. And at the same time, analgesics each four hours. Then, when I was able to walk without suspensory, I began to reduce the analgesycs to one each 8 hours.

Thanks you everyone, just order suspensory from Amazon, hope to feel better next few days. Do you gentleman feel any pain where the reservoir is going along the route of the pump?

In my case the reservory is in the bottom of the belly, and at the beginning it ached if I press it, or when cough or sneeze. But that pain have never been a problem, was always very little and only when those things happened.

The route of the pump doesn't disturb neither. That said, at the begining, when everything is so inflamated there, you cannot tell where the pain come from.

In the first 24/48 hours, were you guys iced 24/7 or only 20 minutes/hour. I was iced 24/7 and was wondering if part of the pain currently experienced was freezer burn.

I was told to ONLY do the 20 minute routine because keeping the ice on there all the time would cause freezer burn. (And I do not want freezer burn anywhere, but especially not down there!!)
