Length increase after revision

There are many reports of second (or subsequent) implants using longer implants than the virgin implant, but this begs the question of whether this translates into longer usable penis length. (And no reports I can recall of using shorter implants that are not related to a specific cause.)

A longer penile implant could have its length increase show up in three ways I can think of. (That is, the increased implant length could be consumed)

1) The proximal end of the implant sits deeper in the implantee's crus
2) The distal end of the earlier implant left a compressed glans, so the distal tip sits deeper in the glans without moving the tip of the penis forward
3) The penis could actually show as a measurably longer usable penis which can penetrate the implantee's partner deeper than before revision.

What say (second-round and beyond) implantees who have carefully documented their size history? Actual, measured external penile length, not implant length.

I'm obviously still on the first for being a little over two years in. However, my urologist's nurse told me my doctor was part of a long term study over this very topic you've brought up. The result was that a subsequent revision adds up to 3cm in additional length. At that rate... "come on number two!".

Have the results of the study been published? Does it address the central question of "Usable, penetrative length" as opposed to the (admittedly easier to measure) mere implant length?

I saw a video where Dr. Kramer mentions that second implants are frequently slightly longer. I wondered if the longer cylinders were used because the penis had stretched or if the patient was undersized the first time. We should keep both possibilities open during our discussions until we get better info. IMHO.
