This is not often mentioned:

Urination after implant, especially if you remain partially inflated after surgery (a common practice) can be challenging. It is difficult to aim into a toilet. Hospitals often allow you to take the plastic bedside urinal home with you (or you can dedicate a jar or wide-mouth bottle) for urinary convenience. Or you can urinate in the shower and rinse it afterwards.

Coordinating my bowel movements with my urination schedule was an interesting logistical challenge.

In response to notaes, I will explain some more things in order to help and give context of my concerns.

Firts the first. Not everybody is the same, but the 'before surgery' period was very straight for me. In May, it was almost two months that I was nor able to have sex with my wife. This, after ten years of periods of months without sex, and in the most intense sexual moments, not more than once a week. Even the day we married, seven years ago, I was almost unable to make her love, a maximun dosis of viagra let me have a bit of sex that night. So after being at the edge of divorce, I decided to look for the implant. I was very quick (and know I think it was a mistake): searched internet for a doctor in my city (Seville, Spain), and I found one who claimed 25 years of experience. I investigate further and I found that he was the leader of the andrology speciality in one of the most important public hospitals in Spain. So with that curriculum, I call to the consultant to have a date. They dated me for late July. And then, I said to my wife: darling, I am going to have an implant, no more sex problems after that. She did not even asked. Just said: 'you should have done before'.

I went to consultant and explained my history and told me what I already know: You need an implant. I can date you for 12th September. Said and done. No worries. He told me the possible compliactions (mainly infections, specially because my condition of liver transplanted), what would I expect, told me no lost of size or very little, measured my cock and told me 10 cm, which would be obviously the max size possible afrer surgery.. and that after a few days I could return to work, and in six weeks or so, have sex. Nothing more. I haven't prepared questions (they came after surgery). Maybe because I have had various surgeries, mainly the liver transplant, the surgery didn't scare me. No nervous, just anxiety because of see the end of the tunnel so near.

After surgery, the fears came: first, I was not able to return to job after two weeks. And the first week of job, was from home because I couldn't go to office. Pain, swelling, deformity... Now, 6 weeks after surgery, I am much better, and reading experiences here, I am much more calmed, but as we often say in Spain, 'no one learn the lesson in else other's head'. It is a very helpfull site, and I regret not have known before, but there is always that 'what if...?'

Regarding urination, not much help here. I was not 'cathetered'. I was 24 hours in hospital, full to 80% and with an enormous bandage around my cock and testicles. When I felt like urinate, I asked for a bottle, stood up, put the head of my dick inside the bottle, and waited. It was difficult first time, but no pain. When finnaly arrived, I urinated in the bottle, and since then, I have had any problem with that. I left the hospital without bandage and for urinate I just sit on the toilet, press my botton as much in back as possible, and press my dick a little down. It is the only advantage of having a 10 cm dick (first days after surgery I did not see almost any lose of size, the lose was after deflatin, for weeks later when inflated again).

At last, yesterday decided to objetively measure the lose. It was not an strict measurement, but I used a ruler to see how much lenght I have lost. The girth is impossible to compare, because I have never done before. As I said, the doctor measured my lenght when flaccid. He took my pennis by the tip and streched firmly to the maximum extension. 10 cm he said. That would be the maximum size I would have after implant, which make sense as it appears to be the maximum capacity of expansion of my pennis. It is strange, because I remember my younght games when I was 17 that after circumcision I measure my lenght (completely erected) and I got 12 cm. Is it possible that 35 years later lenght has reduced? Maybe because the lack of sex due to the ED? Anyway, if that two cm, real or not, are lost, they are lost and nothing can be done.

Yo the max lenght available after implant is 10 cm. Well, I thought I have lost at least one cm, if not more. But as somebody pointed, it appears to be a subjetive thing. The measurement I had yesterday inflated to the most (and it is supossed it will grow with cycling and months), gave at least 9,6 cm, but it would be perfectly 10 (I already have said that I couldn't take a precise measure). And the grith, all around the pennis (in the base, as you go up to the tip it reduces to the glans measure), is 12 cm.

Not so bad.

Do you think I can regain part of those 2 cm supposedly lost since my youth?

If not, I will be happy with my ten (What else can I do?). After all, is what I have had last years.

one person,
I see you were implanted with Titan Coloplast 20 cm.
I can’t believe you are only 10 cm or 4” long. With 20 cm, you should be between 5.5 and 6” long.
And since, you did not have RP, (prostate still intact) you should be able to get all your pre implant length which you mentioned to be 7”.
Just to give you comparison, I was implanted with Titan Coloplast also 18cm + 1 RTE.
I used to be 6.5” all my life until I had RP for prostate Ca. I lost 2+ inches of length and some girth also.
After implant, I started with 3.75” and now, 14 months after implant, I am 5.5” inches long with same girth. At good days, when I take Cialis and my glans becomes engaged, I am close to or around 5.75”.
I’m still short 1 inch but that is because of RP.
Now, I can’t reach point of discomfort unles I live it for longer time 45 min to 1 hour. I reached maximum what 18+1 can give.
I am happy with it.

Hi and thanks for the answer.

The paper the doctor gave me says "implanted with Coloplast Titan One touch, two cylinders 20 cm each'.

Maybe I have a deep pelvis, I don't know. What I know pretty well is that even when I was twenty, my dick has never gone more than 4,7 inches, 12 cm, with the most hard erection of my life. 12,5 as much, and that being quite optimistic.

The day doctor measured i was flaccid. He streched till pain and measured 10 cm.

No matter. I will be happy if my erection lengh goes to 10 without doubt and girth grows a little (1cm is enough). Everything more than that will make me the most happy man in the world. Despite the poor size, every woman who has make love with me has been very happy when not ED. And the hardness of natural erections are far away from bionic ones.

oneperson wrote:Hi there,

I am an spanish man, so first, sorry for the language mistakes. I am 51 years old and have a liver trasplant. ED episodes since 24 years, last 10 years became a real problem. After several doctor visits, tests, viagra treatments, injections, psycotherapy and almost a divorce from my wife, on 12th September i was done.

The preoperatory measurements of my pennis was 10 cm from pubis to the extreme of the glan (streched, not erectioon, I was not measured under erection), so it is not a big pennis at all. Doctor said that it would be the size of my pennis after the surgery, so not a big deal. My wife has enough with that size as long as the erection is good.

Post surgery was a hell. I left the quirofan with 80% of inflation. I am not going to talk about pain, just no cateter for piss. I left the hospital 24 hours afrer surgery, with my 80% inflation, a 'king size' right testicle and a tremendows pain in all the zone, scrotum, pennis, pubiis, everything ached.

Five days later, I went to the consultation. Doctor deflated the pump to about 30%, and told me to take analgesics for pain, and a jockstrap. Without jockstrap, I wasn't able even to be standing, no to talk about walking: the scrotum ache was so unbearabable that I could not support even with analgesycs. Because of that, I went to the consultation 3 days later. Doctor said there was no infection, so he increased rhe dosis of pills and recommend patient, and deflated the pump completely, leaving the pennis completely flaccid (which for bionic men, it not like before, always has some hardness).

Ache was reducing little by little, but my right testicle was a big ball of inflamation still. Doctor dated me for 14th October (one month after surgery) in order to teach me the handle of the pump. I went to the date, but the right testicle was so inflamated that he wasn't able to make the lessons. It was too ache. He then told me to take ibuprofen twice a day during 10 days, and come again in 7 days.

The right testicle inflamation begun then to reduce, so yesterday finnaly went to learn to use the pump. He teach me to inflate and deflate, and I receive the first bad surprise: I press the pump several times until I am not able to press it more, I suppose that it is because it has reached the maximum fill of the cylinders. And my pennis, though I haven't measured, seems at least one or two centimeters shorter. Doctor says that it is enough to have sexual relationships, and it will grow to the original size of 10 cm.

He has instruct to fill the pump once a day and keep it for 15 or 20 minutes, and begin to have sex when I have no ache. I have told my wife I will be ready for sex in one week or so. And I have some doubts in this rehab. I have been reading internet for the matter, and I have read people that says to fill the cylinders to maximum twice a day during 1-2 hours. Other say that fill them before sleep and left all night..Other say that inflate to the limit of the ache, and try a little more as time goes by...

I don't know if it is because lack of practice, but I am not able to push the pump more at one time, and when I reach that point, the pennis is hard like a rock, but smaller than even when I saw after the sugery when it was supossed to be inflated to 80%. When I reach that point, I don't feel ache, just a little bothering tightness.

In your experience, which would be the better routine to recover size as soon as possible? I am very afraid of the size, and about my incapacity to pump the cylinders. Keep in mind that for me is very difficult to find one or two hours in the day to have the pennis in erection, apart from sleep time at night.

Which would be your advice? And, last but no least: after six weeks, how is possible that I have still some ache? How much time is needed to not have any annoyance?

Thank you very much.

Ahh, I forget it. My prothesys is Coloplast titan one touch, and the surgery report tells that two 20 cm cylinders has been used, which is very surprising because it doubles my pennis size,

Welcome!

Sure you recover soon. Be patient.

I am planing to get an implant next year and i am from Spain too.

I know two good Doctors in Spain to do the thing. One in Seville (who made mine), and one in Madrid.

In Madrid, Dr Rosello (search Internet). In Seville, Dr Natalio Cruz (www.andromedi.com)

Buenas tardes, amigo.
