Nothing is simple-Dilemmas

Postby Txagq8 » Sat Oct 12, 2019 11:01 am

Thanks thus far for the encouragement and sound advice.

But few things are ever easy, simple, or straightforward.

Surgeon. Yes, it would be cool to go to Baltimore or New York or Tierra sel Fuego to have this done by a Kramer or an Eid. But real life is keeping me closer to home. The surgeon I’ve interviewed does about 3-4 monthly, 30-50 a year. He’s been doing them for 20 years and as chief of Urology has been doing all of them for this medical center for last 16 years.

Coat. My insurance picks up the biggest chunk of this. I’ll be close to my catastrophic cap so out of pocket for this will be maybe $800 or so. Manufcturers suggested retail price if I were uninsured would be $42K. I don’t know how that compares to other practitioners.

Drain for two days at home. Day surgery considered highly unlikely that I would be admittef as an impatient. Infusion with IV antibiotics during procedure but no oral antibiotics expected.

Weeks worth of pain meds. I doubt i need them but I’m not going to turn them down.

Size is a concern. I’m nearly 7x6 and don’t really want to lose that. Doctor is very straightforward that he will fit me with what fits but refuses to commit to sizing aggressively. I’m not expecting to end up with an enlargement but by the same token I’m not wanting him to approach this with a “meh I have him able to have intercourse, the hell with size concerns” either.

Doctor is easy to contact. I fired off an e mail during clinic hours and got a reply within 3 hours.

So, somebody who does 3 or 4 a month is not the high volume expert in the field but 30 or 50 a year isn’t exactly a neophyte. $800 is plenty reasonable for my cost of having it done. Beats the hell out of $42,000.

I have big balls but I also have a big nutsack unless it’s cold. Reading some things on here have me worried about the pump and release button. Not sure I want to tell one of my balls adios.

Hey man

I think you are wise to use the best resources you can. I’m going to do the same thing. I am within 45 minutes of UT Med Ctr and that’s where I will go. Not everyone can go to NYC. Best of luck!

Just sayin.......at some point you just step over the line.....mostly this procedure has a positive outcome........and even small glitches can be fixed.
In hindsight I went into it blindly. I just wanted my cock go hard again.
It turned out so well it far exceeded my expectations.
No reason you won’t have the same experience if you choose a surgeon who performs IPP surgery regularly.
There is more than enough advice on here to assist you in asking all the pertinent questions beforehand.

Can you interview some of his former patients?

If HIPPA is a concern , ask if the Doc will give YOUR contact information to the former patients who would be willing to give testimonials on his sizing technigue
