Pumped up dick is now measuring about what it was prior to implant...at least with a ruler bone pressed to fat pad....but in a VED tube it's nearly an inch shorter than it was ! (I had made a mark on the tube prior to surgery) I presume the reason for this is the tubing on the underside inhibiting the round VED tube from pressing down as far as it could before.

The length annoyance is not as much an issue as some pain in the tubing area after a vigorous cowgirl session. But the length thing is annoying as well as no matter how much length I might gain over time it will always be compromised by the excess tubing below.

I'll always wonder if the surgeon had simply snipped off 1 cm of an 18cm instead of adding 2cm of RTE's to a 15cm tube might the tubing have been deeper in my body and not an issue. I guess the ultimate answer would be to have appointment with one of the top implant surgeons and ask them after exam, and if so possibility of eventual redo ... is that realistic especially so soon after my implant ?

Keep your eye on what is important. How far does your penis reach into your partner? Does it touch and put pressure on the important parts.

I opine that, since your measurement from pubic bone to penile meatus is what it was prior to implant, you have lost NOTHING in length. Particularly not USABLE length.

The reduced underside length is not because your penis is shorter, but because your datum point (the start point for measurement) is moved forward. And I know of no sexual position where the "stop" on the underside of the penis matters one whit.

I counsel you that the "length thing" that is bothering you is solely in your head.

As far as the discomfort you feel after a vigorous cowgirl session is concerned, that might be an actual issue. Investigation (with vigorous repeat performances in slightly different positions ) might be in order. Seriously, though, if there is potential for eroding your skin (or your partner's) because of pressure from a loop of tubing would be cause for concern (however unlikely that erosion is). Examine yourself after sex (mirror or your partner). Does your partner experience discomfort during or after?

In short, I think this is no cause for concern over the length, but anything that causes pain should be observed (out of an abundance of caution) for possible damage, however unlikely.

To the best of my knowledge, the AMS products can't be shortened. Only the Titans can be. Unless someone can post other wise.
As I've maintained before. The VED measurements a not real. Your dick is under tension from the vacuum. I would strongly suspect that if you was able to use the VED without hurting yourself. You'd find that the inch will reappear.

Actually my pre implant erect dick never expanded all that much under vacuum for some reason...maybe 1/4" at most. Been there, done that on post implant vacuum test...still about an inch short of previous mark. And yet, as mentioned, measured with bone pressed ruler compared to original length about the same..maybe even 1/8" more.

The part that hurts the most is some tubing on left side base of dick...hurts a little not just after sex but for hours after exercise such as leg curls (on machine) Feels like the tubing can be moved a bit by hand...maybe that is the tube to the reservoir ?

I had a minor circumcision done a few years back. I was amazed that my penis didn't like being cut on. I lost quite a bit for maybe a year. It did come back.

Your original post asked if a redo would be necessary. That might be the case if the problem persists and manipulation of the tubing cannot be done from the outside.

Fortunately, opening the scrotum and repositioning the tubing is not usually a very involved surgery.

The fact that you experience debilitating (my word, not yours, but any post-exercise pain not in the muscles is worrisome) pain after exercise suggests that discussing with your doctor is appropriate.
