Don’t be to concerned yet. I was implanted 3 years ago. Had pain for a month after. Internal swelling doesn’t go away near as fast as people think. It takes months for things to get normal down there. My doc didn’t let me activated for 6 weeks. No pumping no sex no jerking off. Hang in there.

As far as actual PAIN, what I had is best described as discomfort. I've had lots of pain in my life with 20 major abdominal surgeries and I rated this very low on the 1-10 pain scale. As for how long it lasted, I'd say it was kind of pronounced for around 3-4 weeks but radically tapered away after that. You've had bonafide trauma to a naturally sensitive part of your anatomy. You're a bit premature with being overly concerned. Keep icing it for 20 minutes a few times a day and use pain meds if it gets to be too much. You'll turn a corner any day now and wow the fun you're headed into!

For me I knew the pump was there for a good couple months. More of an ache at times.

Unless I hit it getting in out of car. Then I really knew it was there.

Now pretty much do not pay attention to it unless pumping up.

I had my implant done in a hospital and stayed overnight. I am the biggest chicken when it comes to facing potential pain. The only pain that I had was when they removed my catheter, which abated seconds after its removal. I had some discomfort for about two weeks but no pain.

We are each different so regardless of how long someone else experienced pain it doesn’t mean your situation is abnormal. I only took one pain pill after returning home following implant surgery. The only reason I took it was to sleep better, not for pain. I had what I would call discomfort for a couple weeks, but I have had far worse pain from other things.

I am scheduled for surgery Friday Oct, 4th - I was wondering which type of cut each of you had...Scrotal Vs. Infrapublic . I am thinking this has to play a HUGE part in the pain and recovery.

I had scrotal. No real pain more a dull ache nothing that ice, elevation, and tylenol didn't take care of.

My doc said it was OK to start at 3 weeks as long as I was gentle on myself.
