Hi all,
I am courius to know how most members of the forum measure their penis length, in my case if I measure it bone pressed it is 7.25 inches but when I measure it without pressing against my pubic bone it is about 6.5
How do you measure your penis length?

If I read your question correctly, you can compress your pubic fat pad 1.25 inches?
What do you press against if you don't press against the pubic bone? Of course, no one can press against the pubic bone directly because it is covered in flesh, but the standard procedure is to compress that flesh as firmly as possible. In this way the variable of "how hard to press" is minimized and, in case you lose weight, the weight loss of the "fat pad" covering your pubic bone is made as irrelevant as possible.
To maintain compatibility across the internet comparing one man to another or oneself to oneself at different times of one's life, measure you penis in a manner similar to how your foot is measured in a shoe store, with a Brannock Device or a Ritz Stick.

Yep, "bone-pressed" keeps things pretty standard, so that we're comparing apples with apples (or should it be bananas with bananas?).

I take a string with markings every quarter-inch. Hold one end in a clamp (jaws of hemostat, actually) and press that (sideways, NOT the points) into my pubic fat pad (as firmly as I can) just above my penis and stretch the string straight along the top of my penis (but not following the curve around the glans).

Yep, bone pressed stretched… Realistically, what do you think average is? Curious because of my primal instincts… I can’t read the nomograms for myself “blind“ but the biggest paper says 5 1/4 inches… I don’t know if that’s bone pressed or not but that Hall study seems kind of void when you read the majority of men on here having 6 to 7 and that is legitimately the top of the scale according to them… Whatever you’ve got is perfectly fine… Again, primal instincts…
Implanted October 2019 Dr. Kramer lgx 18 cm +2 rear tips. Preop at 6.75 post op 5.25... awaiting revision… Implanted for possibility of having our first child.

5.25” is world average... USA is 5.1” ! Wonder if the larger sizes here could be because the average guys are less likely to get ED ? The theory being the smaller the dick the less blood it takes to fill it ?WhiteCane wrote:Yep, bone pressed stretched… Realistically, what do you think average is? Wonder if there are any men say age 75 with 7” dicks that have no ED issues whatsoever ? Stats would indicate “yes”... but how amazing is that... can you imagine being that old and still able to get it up just as well as when you were 25 ?

Age 68, widower in 2017, remarried 2019. Viagra worked at first but less and less so as time went on. Never tried injections. AMS 700 LGX 15cm (2cm RTE) Implant 6/19/19 Broderick @ Mayo C. JAX.

And we must always remember (sorry 'bout this, my brothers) that frequently/usually? men's self-reporting of their penis length is longer than it is for real. This is why many/most well-done penis length studies have the penis measured by another person. (Of course I am always truthful about what I say personally: Mine is 10" when it is cold outside.)
Re: How do you measure your penis length?
As others have said it should be done bone pressed. Otherwise there is too much room for error, as well as inconsistencies if you gain or lose weight. I think some guys feel the need to glorify their penis size and some must measure on the underside where it is longer and that is cheating.
I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.

While I suppose that is possible, how to you know for sure anyone actually does that ?

But I feel very comfortable that guys here at FT are incredibly honest about their penis. FT make us all feel very comfortable when sharing such intimate information (information that will be kept confidential, btw).
