Use a metric rule. The numbers are much more impressive.

I gotta ask: WHY do you measure your penis length?
Born 1948, wed 1969. BPH & Type II Diabetes at age 35. TURP-2002; ED even before that--diabetes. Cardiac valve surgery: 2007 & 2019. Poor results with pills. Started trimix injections in Nov, 2010. Great results from the very beginning.

I gotta ask in return: Why not?

I measured as a teenager because I was curious. I measured while I was on the road to an implant (and beginning to use a V.E.D. for therapy) to document any changes.

So, I gotta reply: "Because". Everybody has their own particular set of reasonings.

I measure mine to see of any changes. As to your question, follow the base down the shaft to where it meets pelvic bone with ruler to the tip and that is supposed to be your real length. guys measure what they see not what they are at times cause there pad on pelvis might be bigger, thus might lose length of done from top of pad.

5.25” is world average... USA is 5.1” ! Wonder if the larger sizes here could be because the average guys are less likely to get ED ? The theory being the smaller the dick the less blood it takes to fill it ?

Wonder if there are any men say age 75 with 7” dicks that have no ED issues whatsoever ? Stats would indicate “yes”... but how amazing is that... can you imagine being that old and still able to get it up just as well as when you were 25 ?

I needed help sometimes with .25 Cialis but was very hard at 75 and 6.5 inch just before RP. Cancer sure changed my life. Bone pressed till it hurts, with an old wooden ruler.

I Measure 100% because of primal instinct LOL… Men as a whole our fall-centric creatures… We probably invented rulers for measuring our tubes... this is why they are called rulers… truth be told, I’ve always felt kind of small… Curiosity struck me And my girlfriend after that big old study came out… That was the first time… The second time was after I heard about the implants… I got the same results and I’m happy with them… I’ve never had any complaints but was always sort of that kid who didn’t measure all through middle school or high school because clearly it wasn’t 9 inches long like every one of my friends apparently had… I think way too much pressure is put on this subject… Women really do not care… It’s neat to know what you’ve got though I guess…

I never really worried about it much. I did measure before ed just for the hell of it on occasion. I was always right at 7 and probably not pushing real hard.

I got more worried when I knew for sure it was getting shorter due to ed. Then even shorter when peyronies hit.

The measured when I started traction and ved to see if it helped before I got my implant.

It did and lessened my curve some as well. Measured bone pressed with a ruler while in traction the day before surgery at 6.25.

Measured after surgery to see if things were growing. They were. I was short after surgery, probably around 5 or so. About month 2 made it to my pre surgery stretch length of the 6.25.

After 6 months of pretty routine cycling I am at 6.5. Probably it for me.

Tips are in my glans good. No pain at all when I pump up now fully. Good engorgement. So maybe on a future revision I might get my 20 cm and no rte. Then I might get my pre ed 7 inches.

Oh write it down to. Memory is second thing to go after your dick size.
18 cm plus 1 rte titan installed March 2019. Revision March 2020 by Dr. Andrew Todd, Richmond KY. He replaced the titan with an AMS 700 LGX 18 cm cylinder plus 2 rte for 20 cm total length.

I agree. Never saw any point to measuring - you get what you get and the number makes no difference.

Thank you all for your feed back, I feel very fortunate to recover from cancer and being able to have a normal sex life again, keeping my size was not my main concern when I went for the implant, to be honest, I was more concern with a complication, an infection or no choosing the right doctor, luckily I did not have any complications and my doctor was excellent. But now this is like having a new toy, I do all the research I can to learn more about implants and measuring the length is more for fun than anything else. The reality is that what is really important is to be happy with what you got, enjoy life and be grateful for my good fortune.
