Gaining Length with implant over time

Postby QuestionGuy » Tue Sep 24, 2019 3:34 pm

I have seen references here to men gaining length after a couple of years with the implant. How is that possible? A few weeks after surgery, (or once you get to the point where you can tolerate your implant being fully inflated) is that not as big as it will ever get?

Once implanted, the maximum possible length of the penis is determined by how long the implant is fully inflated. Are men “gaining length via cycling” by getting to the point where they use maximum inflation, and begin to feel that through this stretching of the original penis : they now have more capacity………. so they get a second operation with a larger implant?

Similar to how women sometimes progressively increase breast size with subsequent implants?
I'm 55. PostFinasterideSyndrome/Peyronies . Initially had good erections but numbness. Now erections are compromised, but good sensitivity. I see Dr. Irwin Goldstein and do : TRIMIX-Clomiphene-Arimidex –Cabergoline -Cialis -Traction-VED-Pshot-gainswave

If I had a guess it would be the cylinders softer up over time.

Kind of like blowing up a balloon. The first time you blow it up it is hard to do. Let the air out and blow it up again. It becomes easier. Work it around in your hands you can even do tricks with it.

I would bet as cylinders soften they have the ability to stretch a little more.

I know in the first few months these titan cylinders were a bit stiff. Now they are getting softer and more pliable.
18 cm plus 1 rte titan installed March 2019. Revision March 2020 by Dr. Andrew Todd, Richmond KY. He replaced the titan with an AMS 700 LGX 18 cm cylinder plus 2 rte for 20 cm total length.

In my case I had a 6.5” erection most of my adult life. After I had my Prostatectomy and also from years of ED my length was down to 5”. When my surgeon did the stretch test to give me a rough idea of post-op length it was 4.5”.

Following surgery the first time I measured my pumped size was 4.5”. I assumed that would be my size. I soon realized after the surgery my penis was still recovering from what it had been through and was much tighter than it would eventually be. As I fully recovered the length was soon back at 5” and over the months to come I cycled twice daily and ended up back at my lifelong length of 6.5”.

I have no idea if it was the cycling that allowed me to regain the length I had lost over the years or if my penis just had the natural capacity to do it with the implant to prevent it from retracting.

AMS does claim the cylinders can expand in time. Numerous guys here who cycle their devices regularly have seen some growth. The pressure from the pumped cylinders can stretch the skin and tissues of the penis. I am still cycling, but very happy to be back to
My god-given size.
I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.

My length before Peyronie's was 7.25". When I began inflating I was 6.75". After about 9 months of cycling I am back to 7.25.
