Question about scrotum being shriveled and the pump

Postby readyforchange » Thu Sep 12, 2019 2:36 am

Hey everyone!

So it will be a week since surgery. Pain is better and i feel much more comfortable.

I will go back to Dr. Kramer for the follow-up on 9/23.

Anyways, I have a question regarding the scrotum not being loose. Mine will and it really always have, been tight and shriveled. It will hang low but most often than not, it is very tight and shriveled.

Anyone else find this happens to them? What do you do to handle it allí

I'd be very interested to see the replies for this question. My scrotom isn't particularly large and it often seems to be tightened throughout various points in the day. I wonder what a pump will feel like in there...

It will adapt. I had similar concerns to yours, and I have plenty of room for the pump and tubes. It still tightens up, but not to the extent there is a problem. I can find the pump and comfortably squeeze it whether my scrotum is tight or not.

Scrotums tighten and loosen all the time, responding to various stimuli they encounter.

Our testicles get larger and scrotums tighten naturally during sexual arousal as well. Still plenty of room for the pump.

Mine was while healing first couple of months. Now, as before, depending on temperature but it gets really loose in the heat.

I had lowhangers in my younger years but ended up with a more average sac as I aged. At the time of my implant the pump disappeared pretty well between my balls and all was well. Last year I went through treatments for Prostate Cancer and that included a series of injections of Lupron which is considered a temporary form of chemical castration. It is wicked, but helps the rest of the treatments be more successful so when your life is counting on it I was grateful to do it.

During that time my balls all but disappeared. They were tiny and my sac was tight. I swim laps for exercise and upon exiting the pool all that was left down there was the bump from my pump. As I am fully healing from all of that my testicles are getting larger again, but may never get back to what they were so I experience times when my sac is tight and times when it is relaxed. I prefer the appearance when relaxed, but I am never uncomfortable physically and not embarrassed in the locker room.
I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.

I had the same basic question I have always had a tight sack barely being able to wrap my forefinger and thumb around the top with out crushing the boys in the bottom.

After my implant surgery I was told to pull down on the pump.

I know I was panicking but on Tuesday when the swelling down there has really gone down and I could move the skin of my sack over the new occupant except in one spot it seemed to be stuck. That was concerning enough but I couldn't find my right nut I knew it was there somewhere as I could feel the pump or tubing bumping it.

Long story short I called the Urology clinic at my VA medical center after leaving message, I got a call from the Urologist on call, she took more information, relived a lot of fears and then said she would get with the surgeon. He called a short time later I explained all I worried about and he calmly explained it was normal healing, and my right nut is just hiding because of the trauma (my words not his). He said in time it the scrotum and testicles will accept everything (again my words).

I know this long but I hope it helps.
