I had my bad implant replaced on 8-20-19 by Dr. Kramer. I am impressed by his attitude and his skills and can do attitude. His office staff and the nurses were professional and quite skilled. (He) Dr Kramer is easy to talk to. I went in at 6 am and at 7am was in surgery and by 9:30 am was on my way back to the hotel... with a catheter in place. My wife was shown how to help remove it .This morning and we removed it... That was the worst of the pain. No drainage tube needed. Today laid around icing up and took a walk to the swimming pool while wife worked on her knee which was replaced June 4. She still has trouble with stiffness.I watched but did not go in.
We were able to go out for super and back to the motel. I am quite pleased that I have gone to see Dr Kramer. He has a since of humor and a caring manor about him....
So far he has been a very good choice for me and I highly recommend him to anyone who would ask me. He was my first choice but I tried another doctor. My gut instinct should have been followed. I screwed up. Today no pain after the catheter was removed. I have to wait until Friday to see him and Saturday we fly home. I still have very little swelling or not even any pain. He implanted a titan and removed an undersized ams cxr. This is day one. I am happy again........

Congrats to you! You finally did what you wanted done and all went smoothly. Wishing you the best and don’t rush it. You need some time to heal.

disappointed 2,
I hope you will have to change your user name after this surgery.
Wish you speedy recovery and full satisfaction with your new implant.
Do you know what length of cylinders did you get this time with Dr. Kramer?
Was it significant difference compared to your first implant length?

Day 2: I am one of the luckiest people to have surgery and get up with out having pain. No pain today. Just a little discomfort and I hate to mention it...Slept well last nite. I do have that sweaty ball stick to everything though;;;;;; I am sure that will go away.
I felt around down there checking to see how much different this feels. I don,t have the dog ear thing and the tubes going to the pump are not really noticeable . It feels more natural and round without the flat shaft feeling. I am happy with what Dr. Kramer has done. Have just a little bruising so far but that is the extent of it.

What was the reason for the revision? Was it a failed device ?

I was given an implant that was mis measured. it was 2 short which left me with 2 and a half inches of an ams cxr. I asked the doctor to fix it. I was told that is all I need to have sex....Really? I was not happy. I as of 8-20=19 no longer have that problem. I had Dr Andrew Kramer replace this implant using a coloplast titan implant. I still do not have the size details but when I get them I will post them. I are now happy..........

Lol, patience patience give it a few month, I'm guessing he is bound to gain atleast and inch or two back over the next few months.

Dr Kramer stopped by last nite and checked me out before I return home. We talked and he said that he was able to add more length to the implant which will put me close to where I was originally. 5 and 1/2. I noticed I had started bruising and this morning have the bluest balls I have ever had.....No pain just bruised up. I am sure this will pass quickly. I will be able to activate in about 9 more days. Still tender around the pump so I am not pushing it yet. I will wait for the rest of the bruising and swelling to go away.

one week down. No pain bruising is gone. I am happy with the implant so far and Dr Kramer.s work. I feel a bit more girth and not pumping yet but after next week will begin. This is going pretty much on the timeline of my first implant which was botched.
