Why fly to East coast Drs

Postby oldbeek » Tue Aug 20, 2019 2:39 am

My Dr, Dr Boyd had been doing implants for 30 years and recently retired from USC Keck. He still does implants on special occasions. I asked Dr Loh Doyle, Dr Boyds second in my procedure, how many implants he currently does. In the last 2 years he has done 80 solo and over 300 assisting Dr Boyd. He is currently doing 3-4 a week. He is probably the highest volume implant Dr on the west coast. He feels he is every bit as qualified as Kramer and Eid. USC Keck is an excellent facility and their price is less than what medicare allows. As there is never a mention of LA area surgeons, I would highly recommend Dr Loh Doyle.

Hi oldbleek... just a question as to why your doc used so many Rte’s? Why didn’t he just go with the 18cm plus 2cm Rte’s? I was always under the impression the less Rte’s used the better. Have you ever asked your doc his logic?

My surgeon told me "You would be overflying a lot of good surgeons if you go to the East Coast." and he is right. FINDING such a surgeon without testimonials (which Kramer and Eid have here in abundance) is a daunting task. But doable, as you demonstrate.

Note: My surgeon had no financial incentive to do my surgery. He is a Lt Colonel in the U.S. Air Force, thus getting paid the same whether he operates or not. All he gained was the experience of operating on me and the satisfaction of helping another human being to restored sexual function.

I used Dr. Kramer but very glad to have you post about the left coast doctor. More info out here helps the guys who live closer to you there.
Implanted March 2nd by Dr. Kramer with AMS/LGX. Had a problem lower left (scar tissue) and he placed a larger (thicker) implant as you can here on the YouTube video. Got all back, ED over 10 years before Implant.

A few doctors seem to have made the process easier for men who need to travel for this. As stated in another post some doctors will not provide a up front cost or other information without seeing you first. So you need to travel for at least one visit before surgery. So if men need to travel for this the stream lined process and or lack of a stream lined process by other fine doctors results in men flying over many very good doctors to see those few very good doctors.

I would not have traveled for this if I had a good doctor anywhere near me. And recommend others do the same. Local care is best if you have a really good doctor close to you.

Because it takes to long to walk.
LGX 21cm .Milam 01/13/16. Horror; both service and surgical outcome. hated infrapubic installation. Kramer revision 03/01/17. 22cm Titan +1.5cm extender. Those who think their opinion is the only one that matters are a danger to themselves and others.
