There are enough guy on here to make an informed decision. Implants before and after surgery. I've done research and some doctors say that you definitely lose length while penile implants and others say you do not. Which one is true? If i was an 6.5 in before surgery where will I be after?

Both are true.

Some men lose some size. Most lose less than 1/2" of prior size (immediately pre-op or even from their prime). Much depends on the source of the man's E.D. A LOT MORE depends on him following Doctor's orders about pre-op conditioning, post-op followup (cycling, etc).

And a lot depends on what the man THINKS he REMEMBERS of his pre-op size. A lot of wishful thinking can cloud one's recollection.

Only the most experienced surgeons can make an informed prediction, and even then there are variables.

Short answer is, no one can tell for certain, but your best bet is to go with a surgeon who is both careful in the operating room and aggressive in sizing you. That combination is usually found only in surgeons who have performed many, many surgeries and perfected his technique and judgement.

So, find someone who has done a lot of these surgeries or who has assisted and studied under a surgeon who has.

I regained my original length (5" hard) and with the implant my original soft length increased from 2" to 3.5". Needless to say, I am happy, and so is my wife.

What about girth? It is the same? Because that is also important.

My erect length may well be slightly improved or at the very least as long as it ever was.
Girth absolutely better than original

Before surgery, and all my life upp till then, I was 16-16.5 cm (6.3"-6.5") when erect.
Right after sugery I was down to around 15 cm (5.9"), but on the other hand, this is useless data since at that time, I could not inflate fully.
Today I am 17.5 cm (6.9") when fully inflated.
The increase happened gradually during he first 1-2 years after surgery.

One last one does it lose its hardness over time. More or so for those whom have had theirs 5 or maybe 10 years. And thank you for those of you whom have gone through this process and overcome and stick around for those of us whom have just begun on our journeys

I have original girth as well as original length. It continued to be completely hard for 12 years, and when it wouldn't harden at all, I had it replaced.

I lost 2+ inches of length in RP and its aftermath.
With implant, I regain 1 inch back.
Still 1 inch shorter comparing to pre RP length.
