Hi.
Okay I am not a Dr. I am not sure I get it but I think it depends on how much sticks out.,
How much body fat. I saw 2drs one told me think he does not measure to the bone.
But in the end he told me that I was going to get the same size implant and in the end I would be same size. They told me that I would get a 18cm implant. Both Drs said that I would be 5 inches when done. 18cm is like 7.08. So 7inches.
When I measure myself I am more like 5 inches.
If I use a VED. It sucks me in and puts a nice pull on me. I get to 6 inches on the marks I made the tube. Being that it sucks me in it is pressed hard against the bone.
I remember that the Dr pushed hard into the bone when he did the pull test. Both Drs said in the end I would be 5 inches. One of the Dr’s does a lot of them, other does many.
I have asked a few people on this site if the Dr’s undercut what you where going to end up with. I was told NO. Reason why I asked was if Dr told you would 5 inches and you came out 6
no one would be unhappy. So with what the Dr told you with I would go with.
I am not that fat. I could lose maybe 20 Lbs.
I think it if I told my Dr if I should lose 10 or 20 Lbs.
Think he would go with the 10.
I am not sure even if I lost 30 Lbs I don’t think I have enough fat thier that I would maybe gain 1/2 an inch.
When I got measured up I told him politely that I wanted it longer.
Was not going to do it because I lost too much length.
Not his fault.
I hope that helps. Not sure it does.

I am so sorry about your experiences, brother. Watch the videos with links here at FT, and you will see how prosthetic urologists (those that have received specialized training in implants) measure from the inside of the penis and then insert the correct size that way. I have my original length back, and so have other guys here at FT. Guys should not just assume that getting an implant automatically means loss of length. That is not the case, brother.

I had the same experience as David.
My doc never promised anything to me lengthwise nor did he do any measuring beforehand.
He assured me he would measure when I was under.
He did a great job and I lost nothing.
I have actually gained between 1/4 and 1/2", but who's counting lol.
