My experience.

Postby marcos » Mon Aug 05, 2019 8:05 am

I suffered ED for over 20 years, viagra stop working, trimix stop working, got divorced,no girlfriend,i couldn't perform to save my life.I'm 51 healthy, active person. I decided to get an implant after a lot of thought and indecision and research and reading other peoples experiences in this website.I was implanted by Dr.Gregory Pappas in Hackensack Meridian Palisades,N.J. Hospital in March 25 2019 with a AMS 700 MS inflatable. After a month or so,after i have a lot of pain, very uncomfortable, the pump in my sack was unbearable,my penis became a mini penis, and even pumped i couldn't get a erection, the good doctor find out that one of the cylinders was out of the glans and the tip sticking out in the middle of my shaft.I have pain every waking hour.He wanted to do a revision,i was done with the whole thing,i wanted out,the pump was killing me,so we decided for a malleable piece.Big mistake.I was implanted with a AMS Spectra malleable piece on June15 2019.First days was okay, then the nightmare, pain star creeping up and never left. The pressure on the tip of the glans, constantly.Permanent "erection",constant pain, impossible to conceal, the left cylinder was too short, seat just under the border of the glans, putting pressure and tilting the head to the right side.I feel the cylinders moving all the time, very painful, more like a medieval torture. Finally on August 2,2019,the the whole thing was removed. Now i seat at home thinking what just happened.Trying to deal with all my unfulfilled expectations.Dr Pappas has a lot of experience on implants but the left cylinder was left short, two times.I don't blame him,but i don't know, maybe it wasn't for me.But for all the people thinking about an implant, you have to know that yes,it work for some people but not for everybody,be careful.

How can the doctor have no responsibility for this screwed up mess?

I hope you're on Medicare so you can see a better doctor to fix this.
I'd see Dr Eid if I were in your shoes.

Thank you everybody, but i think I'm done for now.I have 3 surgeries in 4 months,it took a toll on my body and my mind,to say the least.Like i said,Dr. Pappas have a long experience on implants but he put a short cylinder on the left side, two times.I don't know what to think about him,but how can you make the same mistake twice?

When you feel you're ready, I'd check w/ Dr. Andrew Kramer for a consultation and/or potential revision...has a huge revision practice. If it can be done, he can do it right. Was this done using the infrapubic method? Sounds like it...sorry for your problems...

Hey Man!

Just wanted to say I feel for you. I had several back surgeries a number of years ago. They were back to back and I can sympathize with you. Sometimes you just need a rest and some time for body and minD can heal. Also, a new set of eyes can make a big difference when your ready. Don’t let a bad experience keep you from having a lifetime of great sexual pleasure. When your ready get a new set of eyes and I bet there is someone out there who can be your hero. Best of luck to you man

marcos, I have several questions to ask:
Which AMS 700 implant did he put in the first time, LGX or CX?
After surgery did you have "snake eyes" from the traction sutures in the glans?

Sorry to dredge up bad memories, but things just don't sound right.
I wonder why you had severe pain in the scrotum?

Just thinking out loud. I can understand that if the pump tubing was ran around the testicals own tubes the wrong way. So to say entangled. That the constant irritation would be annoying to say the least. Maybe I'm wrong & this can't happen but in my mind, I don't think it would feel very good.
