Surgery was at 8:45 this morning, I was in surgery for about 45 minutes I’m told everything went well and was straight forward with no issues. In my room resting now with little pain that is more like the feeling of needing to pee in my penis. Hopefully I will have a late lunch soon since I haven’t eaten since about 9:00 last night. I haven’t talked with the doctor yet so I don’t know the size installed but an AMS 700 MS was installed.

I think the plan is at 6 weeks my appointment is August 26. I was just up and walking the halls. Slight amount of discomfort right now but not very bad. I haven’t needed too much pain medication so far, so I’m VERY pleased about that. Hopefully I will get some sleep tonight and head home tomorrow.

Implanted early on Wednesday and yesterday I was deflated and the drain was removed. My wife drove us home, a 2.5 hour car ride. I had considerable swelling yesterday afternoon that I believe the car ride may have contributed to the swelling because I didn't recline the seat much and I wasn't very diligent with icing. Felt better this morning and I'm in my recliner and icing as per the after surgery instructions. I have located the pump in my scrotum and started pulling it down as instructed. I have soreness through out my body that I believe is from the difficulty of getting in and out of bed. I haven't had a lot of pain but more of what I would call discomfort. Next few days should be the worst days, yuck.
