See if there is someone near you that will do a “show and tell” of their implant. There is a post on the forum here of people who are willing and able to do that. That way you could get a sense of what is possible if you get an implant.

I’m currently doing OK with viagra and tri-Mix but I expect an implant will be in my future. I’ll try to meet someone in person to talk about their experience and have them demo it as part of my research.
55yo, NYC. ED started at 40. 50 units BiMix + Atropine (Pap 30/Phen 6/Atr 0.2). Prostaglandins caused aching. Doses increasing. A cock ring helps. Phallosan Forte tension devise to maintain size. Eager to talk about implant experiences.

LOL... he might get lucky like me and at 75 (9 years from now) be doing the nasty with a smokin' hot 57 year old wife ! (no guarantees she'll still be in "smokin" mode 9 years from now but considering she looks like 38 today...probably :D )

Regardless, I agree, if he's basically out of pharmacological options, say hello to Mr. Implant...

Can I have an erection for penetration with pills - yes.
Can I maintain the erection with pills ? Sometimes, but even putting a condom on is sometimes difficult as it subsides early.
How do the injections work ? 10 ug work as I get an E4-E5 erection, good enough for sex but not a raging hard one. 3 o clock, usually it was 1.30 just to clarify nthe

But being 25 and single, injections are nothing I consider.
Do I struggle to date with this condition? Yes. The last two times i could not get an erction hard enough for penetration, being nervous aggravates the

I guess an implant might be a good solution, if it all turns out to be good (length, sensibility, no auto inflation and pain)

Give me some input.

Based on the description of your problem a couple of years ago I was in a similar position, my erections were quite good with viagra but dating was an issue due to the worries in the back of my mind about the pill working or not, giving enough time to the medication to work to avoid an embarrassing moment. I wanted to have an implant back then but the doctor I visited in Toronto turn me down and suggested the use of other medications like muse or the pump, I hated all of them.

Later on I was diagnosed with cancer and after my RP i was left completely impotent, Dr suggested injections but that was not an option for me, I wanted to have sex when I wanted without the need of planning, and carrying a little punch with medicine and injections was not something appealing to me.

Now I have the implant for 7 weeks, still working in stretching and still painful when fully pumped; however, I am super happy with the results as I feel complete again, I am having sex now without worries, my confident is 100% so if I was In your shoes most likely i would get the implant.

Please keep in mind you have to be 100% convinced that this is what you want, once it is done it is for ever. If something goes wrong your only choice will be to deal with the problem until it is fixed, but if everything goes well then ....

Good luck and wish you all the best.

I'm 32 and I could potentially be in the same boat soon. My question to you guys here is about length and girth after surgery. How much of it was lost and even with the reduction of size and girth does it still feel with it. Also, what is the reaction. That women have when they see your penises?

I did not lose length or girth. Getting an implant does not mean you automatically lose something.

Mr Skin, I also have PFS and have struggled with the same type of sexual issues as you... Sometimes my dick works 0% sometimes 50%, hell last night I stayed pretty damn hard for most of the time..

However, its the inconsistency, the fear, the worry, that is not worth it. Just the fact that you are here, like me, tells me that you ED is still an issue. And like me you also are probably weighing the future possibility of a cure for PFS.

My insurance denied my procedure, so I'll probably be taking out a $20k personal loan. I already have plenty of student loans. But in the end, I think its worth it. Its slightly easier to load up on Viagra or injections or whatever if you only see your GF or fuck buddy a few times week. You dont have to be as spontaneous. I live with my wife now, so I need/want to be ready to go any time needed. Only an implant will help me get there and will also lift a heavy weight off my shoulders. I think what has helped me move forward w the decision is so many stories I've read here where the person says their only regret was not doing it sooner. Best of luck with your decision.

We all have to ultimately search our own souls and decide if the upside of the implant will out-way the downside. I do not believe there is a one size fits all answer. One thing which is seldom mentioned here, is asking yourself "what are your needs and desires". The advantage a single guy has over the married guys here is : that when your single you have options. There is no shortage of women on this planet who want a husband/boyfriend but are actually asexual and don't dig sex. There is no shortage of women who can do without penetrative sex but love oral sex. There are also women with their own issues, who will be quite relieved to find someone who is "equally yoked". My situation is a good example: I actually get pleasure and have great orgasms even when I cant get an erection. I had an amazing relationship with a woman who liked face sitting and pinching my nipples while I wanked. I had some of the most intense orgasms of my life that way.

I think the things to look at are: your own libido, your own sensitivity and receptiveness to pleasure, as well as your need for penis-in-vagina sex. If your vision for yourself and your life involves being a Casanova and screwing like a porn star then the implant is absolutely the way to go.
I'm 55. PostFinasterideSyndrome/Peyronies . Initially had good erections but numbness. Now erections are compromised, but good sensitivity. I see Dr. Irwin Goldstein and do : TRIMIX-Clomiphene-Arimidex –Cabergoline -Cialis -Traction-VED-Pshot-gainswave
