Ultra Hard AMS pump!

Had implant done on 6/18/19. Started pumping up on 7/15. Even with hot showers, hot bathtub soaking, & compressing a hot washcloth on pump it is still really hard to compress. After 14 times trying to give that initial quick & firm squeeze, I have never been successful getting the valve to open. I talk to Jamie at AMS, & she walk me through the process to unstick & open the valve, but I have to go through this procedure every time I want to inflate it. I’m worried that I may have a defective pump. Eventually after continually squeezing the pump I feel the faint pop that it moved open so I can then inflate. By the time I go through this pain of trying to pump up I’m really getting frustrated & tired. Not to mention the agony & pain I feel. I don’t have an issue with the deflation. Have I got a defective pump? Any thoughts & advice would be greatly appreciated. Bailey

I think we all went through what you are experiencing. A lot of the firmness is caused by swelling in your penis. Also the cylinders are like tiny balloons. (The first time you blow it up it is hard but deflate blow up again and it's easier.) They need to get stretched out before the pumping get easier. The trick is to pump up as much as you can. Massage your penis wait 5 -10 minutes and try to pump up some more. Do that for about 4 or 5 cycles every day and everything should start working as it should.

I have about the same problem. The little valve only works about half the time. Then I have to hold deflate button and squeeze pump to reset. I'm thinking over time it may get better. I can only pump 3 or 4 times maximum. Pump gets to solid and I have very strong hands/fingers. Implant does get hard after those few pumps though. Funny thing mine will still inflate without the pump valve popping.

Another trick is to have your IPP completely deflated before initiating a new inflation. That "kickover" to inflation position of the valve may be a little easier (the backpressure of partially inflated tubes may contribute to this).

It all gets better with time. The pump loosens up. The pain subsides. Your pump operates smoothly and you can get full solid pumps. Give it time. Your just just beginning this part of your journey. I have had my ams700lgx for over two years and no complaints.
