Does anyone pain in penis head

Postby craig45nj » Wed Jul 17, 2019 8:22 pm

I have been trying to find anyone with same problem and haven’t seen or read anyone

I am now 6 weeks post-op

I had no issues with surgery or recovery -

I regret getting implant due to pain when inflated in head (penis) that remains for quite a while

I can’t have sex or even pump it up often to allow for stretching

Has anyone had this ??

Your flair says 6-19, it's 7-17 today. I think you're expecting to heal faster than is reasonable. Give yourself more healing time.

I meant that to mean June of 2019. I am in week 6 post op

It’s not a healing thing I don’t think.

It’s when I’m pumped the head gets very hard and painful and lasts even after I deflate

Wish I could find anyone who had something similar

I was told sex would be great after 3/4 weeks and I can’t even inflate

The pain is too great

Sorry, my mind went to month/day format for some reason. I know better than to make that mistake.
I still will suggest that you need time. We all heal differently. Perhaps some other things to consider.
1. Did you need some straightening done?
2. Was there any scar tissue inside your penis?
3. Does your surgeon install a reasonable number of implants per year?
As to skill level of your surgeon. Dr. Karpman personally told me he does around 100 implants per year. Not the busiest installer but it seems to keep his skills sharp. Still has time to teach implant surgery & do some research papers.
Have you been in contact with your surgeon? Other than more time, he should know if your symptoms are normal or not. Btw, I've read of several members that commented on non standard aches & pain. Nerves are a funny thing. Sometimes they just hate to of been bothered & take some time to settle down. Keep us up to date on your progress.

Thanks

Surgeon is one of top in world
No straightening or scar tissue

Healing was fine post surgery

It’s the when inflated and head issue - just can’t imagine no one else has had this. Concerns me

Honesty wish I didn’t get it but that ship has sailed

Sounds like you need to inflate to the point of slight pain and let it sit for a while. Maybe do one more pump every few days. Probably some scar tissue in there that needs broken up.

I am more than 18 months post-op and still get pain in the glans when fully pumped up. The pain remains for a short time after deflation.

Pumping up less than that level, my penis is still plenty rigid enough for the most vigorous sex. Pumping to the extreme increases rigidity only marginally and lengthens barely any amount at all. What I am saying is that 95% inflated is perfectly fine and 100% inflated is a bit painful and no difference in sexual function between the two inflation levels.

craig45nj, if you inflate just enough to have sex, is it painful? Too painful to have sex?

If you inflate just below the painful degree of inflation, can you have sex at all?

If you inflate just below the painful degree of inflation, what is your length and girth and how much do those dimensions increase as you inflate to as much as you can stand?

These answers may reveal some information about how well your implant fits your penis and how much scar tissue encapsulation may need to be broken up before you are fully stable and happy with your implant.

I can’t have sex or even masturbate when pumped.

Even a moderate amount of pumping

It’s so bad I need ice and take pain pills after - the head is rock hard and painful even if I’m not turned on just pumped

I think there is a fine line between right size and aggressively sized. At over 4 months the tips are up in my glans and I still have a bit of discomfort after initial pump up but it subsides after a few minutes.

At 19 cm, I am right at 6.25 inches. I have a good erection when pumped and my glans engorges when I am in the mood for sex. I still wonder if I could have taken 1more cm since the pump up discomfort is pretty much gone after 4 months. I know a lot of others said it lasted a lot longer.

I also till recently had a hard time masturbating because of pain in the head and bringing my foreskin up over the glans. Sex did not cause me any pain though. Probably because I was more into sex than the pain I guess.
