Post Surgery

Postby Dejavue1975 » Fri Jul 12, 2019 8:39 am

I just had my 1st implant installed on 07/11/2019 at 230pm. I was nervous but thanks to this forum, I knew what to expect & I'm truly grateful for you guy's on here!
The pain was very mild but the catheter was another story, it was the source of my pain! It was taken out two hours ago and I just had my 1st bladder movement & I'm READY to head home so I can sleep!
My surgeon installed the Coloplast three piece pump, hopefully it performs up to standard when I'm healed!

Welcome to activity on the forum.

Good to hear that the surgery on your "post" went well.

I had a spot of blood come out in my urine a couple of days after surgery. I worried about it and called the clinic. It apparently is a normal artifact of having had a catheter. If that happens, I did not want you to worry. Of course, if it is continuous,l it is more serious.

Congratulations.

Keep us updated on your progress. I had an appendectomy 2 years ago and man when I pissed after the catheter was taken it is was like pissing razors. I remember that taking the pain meds definitely helped that.

Funny I had the same urinary pain after my appendectomy about six years ago... was horrible... so I really dreaded the catheter for the implant .. but thankfully it was not nearly as bad this time .... no clue why the difference.

Yeah the catheter is the worst part. Hopefully getting mine out in like 6 hours or so. It feels pretty good at the thought of being bionic lol

Your What The Fuck Was I Thinking day should arrive any moment now. That's when you look at your somewhat swollen and bruised appendage and question yourself for having the surgery. This is very short lived. Bruising disappears within a few days as you enter the final few weeks home stretch. The next phase is like a little kid counting the days to Christmas ans unwrapping your best present of your life, a fully functional porn star quality dick. Talk about being 18 again! My implant was two years ago the 18th of this month. It;s a natural part of me now that has provided endless hours of delight at a time. You're gonna love it!

My doctor joked that the day after the surgery I would hate him. But then later on, I would love him. :D So true!

Davekell, I'm at that phase now!! My pain has doubled & there's pain in places I didn't even know existed so I've been icing a lot and just laying in the bed. I'm trying not to use the pain meds because I've yet to have a bowel movement.

Keep icing and take Ibuprofen or something rather than the opioids if you can tolerate it.

Ask your doctor when you can first get into a hot tub of water. Doing that gave me more relief than any other single thing in my first few weeks.

Good luck, and let us know if you have questions. We're here to help.
