Still pain going on 6 weeks

Not much has changed and I know I seem like I am whining now

Tried to show wife and inflated last night - actuall got a lil light headed, not sure if that was blood rushing issue

I then got the bad aches in head that wouldn’t go down - stayed engorged - and shaft ache again

I took 2 Tylenol and used ice bag to help

Same issues from 2 weeks, 4 weeks, and now going on 6

Has anyone else had the same ? Wife is not happy and nor am I - trying to be patient

Before anyone asks - I asked Dr about 10 days ago and he says it’s normal healing however I don’t hear of anyone who has same or similar. Trying to find comfort and someone who has same. Currently very down - wished I didn’t do this

If you have no other problems causing this, I think what you're experiencing IS NOT normal.
I know I've never had any pain in my penis from this surgery.

You may have to get a second opinion, I know I would.

What was your size with eid in the stretching /injection test before surgery ?

What size of implant was used ?

Does your penis/implant have crinkles in the deflated state ?

I have zero scrotal pain - that's all gone

I have terrible pressure ache when inflated and after and terrible head pain when engorged

takes almost an hour to subside and cant play sexually at all when pumped due to the pain

If you pump up just short of pain, how is the rigidity and size?

There were a couple of studies I read wherein early activation was compared to no early activation and resultant size retention was evaluated. Early activation tends to prevent scar tissue encapsulation of the implant and the study was designed to evaluate the relative merits of less pain during early weeks of recovery vs preserving size by early activation. Another similar study had men attempting activation at two weeks post-op, but if pain prevented full inflation the men came back after another two weeks, and two weeks and two weeks until they could tolerate the discomfort.

Takeaway: Early activation of the implant tends to preserve size, but the discomfort is a limiting factor. It sounds like you are experiencing that (though 6 weeks is not all that early). Breaking up the scar tissue capsule around the implant is extremely uncomfortable (read: painful) but necessary if you want to maximize your size and keep the careful fit Dr. Eid gave you. You don't want to have that Coloplast not achieve its full size, lest a crinkle should weaken the implant material. (That last part is speculation on my part, but if you do have a crinkle in the implant when you are inflated as much as you can, I truly expect this will be a problem with service life or enjoyment or both.)

You may have fast-forming scar tissue in your genes. Unlucky for you in this instance. Ask Dr Eid if there is some remedy that might make scar tissue easier to break up.

There are several threads mentioning this phenomenon. Here is a link to one.

I hear you on the capusulization

the pain comes from the engorged head and shaft - what doesn't make sense is the head hurting so much when engorged -

I was hoping to find someone who had/has the same out of all these people and it doesn't seem like it

as I said the pain in scrotum was bad early on but its all gone and healed

this stays and every time I pump its terrible and not to repeat the head issue is so sensitive and hurts - just not enjoyable and regrettable

What about rigidity when pumped up short of being painful? Is it rigid and straight enough for penetrative sex?
