Is it normal for AMS700 valve to leak a little over weeks timeframe ?

Just curious as I was sent home from the surgery with perhaps 70% inflation but a couple weeks later the unit appears a bit smaller. If all is "right" with the device should one expect to keep the exact same inflation "forever" if the deflate button not pushed.... or is it normal to leak a little "hydraulics" back into the reservoir over a week time period ?

Leak? Maybe.

I'm a year out from my surgery. I find that if I stay inflated for a few hours I need to occasionally pump a little more. Not sure if that is leakage or some other mechanism.

When inflating, my doctor said to inflate to max, wait 5 minutes, and then inflate again. That's possibly because the implant is expanding and needs to have a little more pressure to stay at max.

Either or both of those things could be happening for you. When I left the hospital, I was at 70% inflated, according to my doctor. I saw a significant change in the way may dick looked over the first week and was "activated" at day 8. I don't know if it was because the implant was expanding a little or just because my penis was healing, since it had a very tight "mummy wrap" coming out of surgery.

So no definite answer here, just some feedback, fwiw. I wouldn't be surprised if there were a little leakage over a long period, however.

It can happen. The ams pumps take awhile to break in. Or possibly looks smaller cuz you’re healing. Either way I’d say you’re fine.
