Bailey’s 6/18 surgery update!

Postby Bailey » Wed Jun 19, 2019 9:09 am

Hi guys, Just a post that surgery was yesterday, & so far it’s been somewhat easier than I expected. Hospital at 5:30am & surgery at 7:30am. I was home at 2:pm. with drain tube, & catheter. I ran a low grade fever last night, but it’s down to 99 now. Taking antibiotics & pain pill along with Tylenol. I’m now waiting on the home care nurse to come and take out the catheter & drain tube. She will also take the mummy wrap off. Last night wasn’t very good, but I think everyday should be easier. I appreciate all your thoughts and prayers. Bailey

Bailey: Welcome to the bionic brotherhood. It will all be uphill from here. Just pay strict attention to the anti infection protocols.

Rest up and heal, don't forget to use plenty of ice and keep us posted. You and the Mrs. will be smiling before you know it. ;)

Well done for getting through it and happy and quick recovery.

Remember and take all those antibiotics for as long as they tell you to!

Hi Bailey.

I also had my implant operation on 6/18. Checked in at 5:15am, surgery at 7:15am. Everything went smooth. Stayed in the hospital overnight. Minimal pain and no swelling. Most of the discomfort came from the catheter. I’ve just been discharged and waiting to go home. I’m excited for the future knowing that this has been fixed. Best of luck to you!

I’m off work for a week. I’ll be back in the office on June 25th.

Just apply ice packs to the scrotum at least four times a day for about twenty minutes and the swelling a bruising will go away in about a week.

You will be just fine, take your antibiotics and pain pills if you need them. I believe I took the pain pills only for two days, then I was fine with very little pain.

I had the LGX and love it, but I guess the Titan is just as good, never had one of them.

Good luck!
