I had bad pain for 3 weeks. After about a month I still had huge issues with my flaccid. Could not point it down and if I tried it would hurt.
I had some discomfort for 3-4 months. Things like bending down to tie my shoes, getting out of a car would bother me.
After around 4 months that was gone.
My flaccid pointed at 4 o’clock for at least a couple of months.
I started to force it downwards in my pants after a month, which I think was stupid.
Today my flaccid hangs down at 5 o’clock.

I still have some small crinkles when flaccid. Not visible, no discomfort. But I can feel them with my fingers. When inflated, there are no crinkles.
On the other hand, my dick grows >2 cm when I inflate it and is longer now than it ever was in life.
Some crinkles are good.

The advice: Give it time. Just accept that you’re gonna have 3-4 months where you will be slightly hindered by your dick.
Don’t force bend your flaccid. Let it take the space it needs.
Things will be great.

I also think I should add that even though my healing was slows and more painful than normal for a patient of Eid’s, my results have been terrific.
A super erection pointing at 2:00, longer than in my twenties. Pump perfectly placed centered behind my balls. No way to notice I’m implanted if not thoroughly touching my balls. Same sensitivity and better orgasmic function. OTR working perfectly, I only press deflation valve once when deflating. No need to squeeze my dick.

Thanks Merrix for puting in your words of wisdom in this tread.
My crinkles are pretty big and think they might get a bit more pliable but the big one on my left that really shows will kind of be there all the time. But I´m ok with that as long as it doesn´t hurt :)

The pump is prefectly placed too but behind the left ball with the deflate button pointing to the side so I can reach it and push it from the side. It´s it completely invisible. He said that he is very careful to hide the pump on younger patients extra well.

Thanks for calming my expectations down a bit.

Yes I have tried to cool just the shaft and glans but find that heat is really the best way for me to relax and feel good. Cooling just makes everything tighten up that creates more discomfort. Icing was great in the beginning the first days.
So heat is really my thing :)

How are you today?
I think all the pain is just a matter of time. It's only going to get better from here.

Acutally a bit better. Was out for a couple of meetings today with only some ibuprofen in my system and a clever way of tucking my dick away in my boxers. It was manageable and my spirit is a lot better today. :)

I'm scheduled for September 5, 2019. If mine turns out to look like yours I'll be ecstatic!

Cool! It sure will, if you have a skilled surgeon.
Who will perform the surgery on you?
It actually looks even better when glans is engorged. Will post pictures soon.

I had my implant with Dr. Eid about 2 1/2 years ago....prior to having it done I met with Merrix as he was in NYC recovering from his implant procedure.....I agree with what he has told you and what others have said.....it's going to take months (everyone heals differently) to really heal and for you to get used to it.....you will probably heal slowly and in stages BUT you will heal and your partner will be happy....for me, even though I healed in 6-7 months, it was probably a year until I was used to my "new normal".....I say new normal because as great as Dr. Eid's surgery is, you new dick will always be different in certain ways from your old one.....you made the right choice in Dr. Eid....just be patient with your healing journey......I'm pushing 70 yo and I'm bangin' away like an 8 cylinder Chrysler with an overhead cam......
