Re: Implant scheduled 2019, July 18 with Dr Eid, NY (1 week update)

Postby peyroniesjr » Fri Jul 26, 2019 6:29 pm

Hi I’m back, here’s a little background. I’m 66 years old with ED, low T, peyronie’s & had my prostate removed 4/1/2019.

Being treated with testosterone & Xiaflex for my peyronie’s. Last 10/24/2018 my peyronie’s was ar 40 degrees, on 6/20/2019 i’m At 70 degrees, I think I got worse because of my prostatectomy with nerve sparing.

Now no erections with meds viagra or Cialis, doctors suggesting bimix, concerned with peyronie’s 70 degrees may not be able to have sexual intercourse even with shot.

So I emailed dr Eid & he suggested an implant is the gold standard for someone with ED & PD.

Not sure as to wait to see if xiaflex works & my penis starts to have some morning erections again.

Questions for you, how did you first have a conference with dr Eid so far away, I’m about 250 +/- miles from his office.

Did your your implant include rte in that 22cm?

Has your girth improved from prior to your operation, too early to tell, & sounds like there are different widths for girth?

One on my concerns is loss of length do to peyronie’s & additionally the prostatectomy.

Thanks junior

Did your your implant include rte in that 22cm?

Hi Jr

If you are far away from. Dr Eid you fill out a pretty extensive form answering a ton of questions.
Then he arranges a skype video conference with him and a nure from his team. I lasts about 30 minutes and he and you can get familiar and you can ask anything that is on your mind. I costs about 200$

Dr EId is s skilled surgeon and he boes everyrhing to avoid rte. Rte is a "fix" har to resort to if the implant length is not 100% correct, he only knows this when he installed you with it. Of the fit is nlt perfect he will take it out and adjust with rte. The benefot of not havin rte is the erecrion angle. More rts the lower your angle usually is. The 22 fitted me perfect and I hsve a nice 2 o clock angle when erect.

My girth at the base is actually wider right from the first inflstion. I guess it will grow even more. But I did have s lot of scartissue at the top left jjst under the gland and this past is a bkt thinner then the lower base of my penis. This is due to peyronies. Funny thing was that I was thinner at the base and wider at the top prior to surgery. Now.. I'm wider at the base and thinner att the top. I would say it reallt doesen't matter. It's same same but different and I believe the thicker base will feel nice for my girl. :)

I do know that the doctors sometimes try to break the scartissue if you have a huge curve to try to correct it so it fits the straight implant.

I was concerned about lengthloss before implant. I for some reasone was not concerned after surrgery. It is long enough, I looks about the same length but I havn't even measured it. It is just not relevant of I lost 0.5 cm or not.. It looks nice, it is hard when I want it to be and it is thick enough.
I don't say that it is not relevant at all but in the bigger picture....
If you have a 0.5 cm longer dick that doesn't work or a steel dick that outlasts anyones bjt is 0,5 cm shorter... It doesn't matter one bit. When I have a swollen glans on top of my implant I will be back to what I was before.

Dr Eid is agressive with keeping size and he does a long list of things to make sure you come out with the biggest size possible.

Hi Kalle,

Thanks for all the info! How long in advance is Dr Eid booked? Do you see any floppy head on your penis? I have 3 more cycles of Xiaflex & occasionally waking to some sort of nocturnal soft erections since taking the testosterone for 3 weeks. If things don't start to work soon or look better , I'll have to make some decisions. Stressing me out!

How's your pain? I know my pain from the prostatectomy was not that bad (Robotic) 6 incisions 5 being 1/2"inches or less & 1 (2 1/2" inches). Much different than neck or knee surgery!

Take care & heal - hope to hear that you got your money worth from your new toy!

Hi again :)

You can get a time for op in about 4 weeks. BUT that is AFTER you have gone thru lab tests that is making sure they can operate on you. And when you have sent in all the questionnaires + lab results and done the video conference. THEN they will look for a time and for me I got one in about 4 weeks.

1. Questionnaire (on his website).
2. Book Video conference (and go thru it).
3. Lab tests to get a green light for surgery.
4. Book a date.

I have no floppy head what so ever. My gland is soft because that part of my erection is a bit broken too. It does get a bit squishy and filled with some blood when aroused but not at all firm. But Dr Eid fits you so well with the tubes. They are exactly at the same spot as my real corpus cavernosas ended before surgery. They go about 2/3 up in to the gland.
Today when I inflated I was also a bit blood filled in my gland and, oh boy, it looks really good.

my pain level is about 3/10 but I have cut back a lot on the pain meds...I do only half the dose of tylenole. First I was on full dose of oxicodone that is strong stuff, i cut back to halv dose of that after a couple of days, then switched to full dose of tylenole for 2 days and now I´m down to half a dose of tylenole. in 2-3 days I will go off painmeds completely.
If I wanted I could take some strong meds now and be painfree but I try to cut back as much as possible and have some pain. this allows me to feel the improvements better and I just don´t want to stuff my body with unnecessarily much drugs.

Don´t be stressed. The option with implant is the best option that will free you up, so there is no stress, it´s a super solution and if you don´t manage to fix the problems with testosterone and meds and other things you have a super solution to fall back on. :)

Trying to upload images here.
This is me 11 Days post op wih Dr Eid.
All the bruices are gone but a lot of pain in the shaft from cycling and the
folds from the implant when deflated.

Here I am fully inflated with a non engorged glans. Just cycling so
I´m not aroused. I hope to have a more swollen glans when sexually active.
You can clearly see a lot more girth in the base.
There is some hourglass on the left tube right under the glans, it doesn't show
much but it is very clear when you feel it.

I will post picture of flaccid before and after when healed a bit more.

The other picture with engorged glans was me before surgery.

That's a great result. I noticed the very slight dent at the top left, but that's only because you mentioned it. I would not have noticed otherwise.

You are a lucky to man to come out on the other side with such an outcome. Well done to you and Eid!

I think we all appreciate you providing pictures, especially us younger guys that are waiting to be done. They paint a thousand words. Thank you.
