Surgery scheduled, 24 year old

Postby Aemill » Sat Jun 08, 2019 2:51 am

Hi,

so finally after 6 years of visiting doctors and avoiding sex I will get bionic, most likely 7/18. My conditions is severe leakage and I need a mix of injections/pills to enjoy sex. What is your regimen to prepare for the operations? using pump, any other ideas?

Thanks

Best of luck. I am very interested, as I am the same age you are.
Most probably will get the implant one month after you.

Were you able to get erections with pilss only (but lost them/ could not sustain them ?)

Congratulations on making the decision.

You might ask your doctor for ideas about how often and how long to use the VED. For me, it really helped stretch my dick out so the implant could be a little longer. My doc had me using one 4 times a day for 20 minutes each time. He also recommended, and I got, a traction device to stretch the penis out when I wasn't using the VED.

The VED seemed to help a lot, and I grew quite a bit in the first weeks of using it, at least when in the tube. A good idea is to mark the VED tube with permanent marker the first time you use it, then every week or two make another mark to show growth I saw over an inch in growth. It never lasted after the tube came off, but was fun to see that I was indeed stretching. Your dick can look huge inside a VED, and that's a good feeling, but for me, at least, my implanted size isn't as big as I'd get in the VED. That said, I'm ecstatic about the implant and the size I've got now, but I'd had over a decade of atrophy and was very small.

There are also "regimens" you can follow for VED use. Just pump it up and leave it for the full 20 minutes, cycle it up and down, "milking", etc. My advice would always to get your doctor's approval and suggested regimen, get a VED with a gauge so you can tell how much pressure you're using, and not overdo it.

The traction device I got (Penimaster) was comfortable, had both extender bars that looked like a medieval torture device and a belt you could wrap around your body under your cloths so I could wear it for 5 or 6 hours at a time. I researched a lot and it seemed the best choice for me, but there many other good ones. In retrospect, I'd probably just have done the VED and skipped the traction. Didn't seem to add much, but YMMV.

As the date gets closer, your doc will tell you about things to do to prepare such as hibiclens soap and getting a blood test for possible infections. Also, you should look in the posts here about what to take to the hospital, what underwear is best after surgery, why to take a baby sock with you, and others. You'll find some great info. Drop me a PM if you ever want to talk about any of it. It's scary to think about and you'll have some "WTF am I doing" moments, but the results can be wonderful.

We're here for you if you have questions both before and after surgery. Wishing you the best,

Hey Guys,

Is great to be reading this thread (you know what I mean). I'm likely going for the surgery (have run out of alternatives) though my doc never mentioned the use of a vacuum device pre-surgery to increase length!

From reading around the forum and as touched upon above, could OP / anyone else (myself hopefully) expect to gain in the region of an inch from a vacuum regimen prior to surgery? That you really would gain length and thereby mitigate any potential losses if not achieve an outright increase?

I'm trawling through studies atm, one reports first-time patients as achieving an average increase of 3cm of implant length when compared to average implant lengths of those first-time patients who didn't vacuum prior to surgery (I can share links if anyone wants).

Please give more updates Aemill!

I need to hear more like this from another young person before I lose my mind haha

Please be careful thinking your ved length will be what you end up at. The ved measurement is under vacuum. Once the vacuum stops, your penis returns to shorter length. The ved is best at getting your length that you've lost back. Very seldom does it get you above your best days length. Your doctors pulled length is a fairly good estimate of your final length.

So the surgeon approved the surgery date 7/18/19, I will most likely get AMS LGX. I am pretty excited and started counting the days.

given your age, how much convincing did the surgeon take to book your operation?

I will agree with the others. I used both a traction device and ved for about 8 months. I had a peyronies curve of about 30 or so degrees pointing up. Severe dents and loss of length. Over about 2 years went from 7 inches to 5.5.

Ved never got me any longer than 6.75 but never stayed that long when out of the tube. Traction however did get me back to 6.25 on a consistent stretch. One issue with the stretch back to my original length was the plaque from peyronies.

Pre surgery stretch was at 6.25. An pre surgery injected erection was right at 6. At 3 months post implant I am at a consistent 6.25 inches erect and hard. Curve is pretty much gone.

All in all very happy. I would love to get back to my 7 inch, but if not all is still good.

The short or long of it is I think ved and traction helped me get closer to my original length subject to how much the damn plaque would stretch. I firmly believe if I had not used them my stretch would have been 5.5 and the loss would have been permanent.

It sure will not hurt. I do not remember reading about anyone on here though ending up with a ved length as their implant length. Could be someone though.normally the stretch test ends up as your implant length for most or pretty close. The tri mix injection if it works also will give you a good estimate.
