9 months update

Today is 9 months since I received penile implant and I want to post an update.
Last week I had follow up visit with my implant surgeon.
I mentioned to him about very hard (rock hard) spot at my right corpora at penile base which is giving discomfort and some pain to both my wife and I.
He inflated my implant to about 90% percent and examined the spot I mentioned and showed to him. He said, definitely is not a hardware. Per his examination, he is sure that rock hard plaque formed on my right corpora cavernosa and that is what gives both of us discomfort.
He instructed me to cycle implant 3x a day to possibly brake the plaque.
If plaque does not brake thru cycling and discomfort continue, he will need to remove it surgically which pose danger to compromise my implant.
I pump it until pump becomes non compressible like rock hard and I do not feel pain and discomfort from cylinders like it was until month or two ago.
Symply said, I can not inflate to point of discomfort any more.
What does it mean: reached max lenght, short on fluid in the reservoir or maybe implant undersized?
Also wondering if anyone had progression of Peyronie’s after implant with plaque to continue developing? ( some scaring at implant time more on the right side)? Used penile injections- injected 166 times during 17 months of injecting.
Around 8 months post implant, I reached 5.5” lenght and also 5.5” in girth.
Without 5 mg Cialis, my glans is soft and not engorged regardless being well supported by cylindertips ( around half way in the glans).
This was problem before implant and I am sure it is sequell of radical prostatectomy to remove prostate Ca.
To summarize, I am happy with my progress. After very bumpy start and slow steady progress ( started with barely 3.5 inches when first started cycling), I am happy with where I am now in lenght and girth.
My worry now is newly formed plaque and its progression.

It sounds like you have inflated to the max. When the time comes for a revision, you will most likely get a bigger LGX. That's a good thing. In the meantime, you can continue to get benefits from the AMS implant for up to two years.

I cannot answer on the "undersized" part of your question.

If you pump until the pump bulb is not able to be compressed any more, but is full of fluid, you are definitely not short on fluid. If you were short on fluid, the pump bulb would remain collapsed after your last compression.

That is the extent of my answers of which I am certain.

indicates that your implant has reached a limit. Whether that limit is the implant or your Tunica Albuginea, I am not sure. If the implant, you will not get any further increase in size. If the Tunica, over months of daily (or multiple daily) inflations, you may be able to induce some stretching of your tissues. The Tunica is a tough, fibrous tissue designed by nature to be inelastic (which is necessary to get a stiff natural erection), but over months or years, living tissue does have the ability to adapt (grow or stretch) to forces being applied (either natural or mechanical). Just be careful not to tear or damage your tissues. It does sound (because you have no pain upon inflating) like you are not endangering yourself.

Let's ask the question backwards. Does having an implant stop plaque from forming? I don't have an answer. My honest guess is maybe it does halt or slow the forming of plaque. So in perspective of it slowing the formation. It might take many years to answer your question. Have you used the search function to see if this has been answered in the far back past? Perhaps by members who are no longer active viewers.
