Sanity check - Top doc does not offer a size estimate?

Postby edwardl007 » Mon Apr 29, 2019 4:16 pm

Since Dr. Kramer is recognized as a top guy, I guess this a "reasonable" and frequent practice? I am very interested in hearing from other guys who have been to him and what their experience has been?

Have any other guys who have been to other doctors had this experience ?

I personally would be surprised if a doctor would utter a guess. If a patient turns out shorter than the guess then he'll get bitched at by at least 1 patient a week. Who wants to get beat up over something that is out of his control.
I think the best you'll get is an office stretch & a "this is what you'll be" statement. What you do prior to & after surgery likely has a big effect on your outcome. Just my opinion.

The problem with size estimates is that sometimes it takes longer to get the maximum that you will get AND what if the doc says cycle twice a day for the first 6 months and the patient cycles once a day for a week and then quits. That stretch size guess is just to prevent people from running away with their tail between their legs. The ONLY size that matters is the one he gets when you are on the OR table. :)

My doc had been doing them for 30 years. I told him what my trimix size was. He basically looked at it, no measurement, and told me I would have that trimix size after cycling 2 years. I have had the trimix hard on size since day 1. Cycling every day and it has not grown at all. I guess I cycle because I like to feel my hard dick.

Yes,
The key is that he did not say now I am going to make your penis shorter. I plan on simply stating that I was measured for about 6 1/4 inches and given 21 cm implants. Now I'm 3/4 of an inch longer and would like to start with a 21 cm CX and add rtes as needed. It really doesn't matter what he says. I know his measurements will basically come out the same but that will tell him what I'd like. What he uses will not really matter as long as it works. I do not wish to gain anymore so anything will be ok. Although softer cylinders are really nice.

Dr Kramer did my implant in 2008. At that time there was no mention of size (and I knew nothing about implants and didn't know size was even a potential issue). There was also no mention of "cycling' post-implant. This was quite a few years ago, and perhaps Dr Kramer's approach to size estimation and cycling has changed in the interim. Whatever the case, my post implant size was the same as pre-implant.

The only cycling I ever did was to inflate the implant when I had healed to the point where it was not painful. Since i wasn't using the implant, I asked Dr Kramer about inflating and he said I should pump it up now and then to keep things "stretched and healthy," so I adopted a practice of inflating it briefly evey few weeks when the thought occurred to me. After the novelty wore off, I inflated every few weeks, and eventually that tapered off to every two or three months. Now I seldom bother with it at all - for what it's worth it still seems to function properly.
