Extensive research almost complete!

I finally was able to talk to a previous implant patient of the surgeon I plan on using this summer.I have to say that talking to this gentleman was really beneficial in helping me over the hump with my decision. I still can’t believe how hard it is to talk to someone who’s had this surgery here in The Villages,Fl. with a population of over 120,000 retirees.
Franktalk is the only open forum I know of where guys really open up about their ED issue. I put a post on our Talk of the Villages website under their health format, and got over 175 views with absolutely no one sending me a private message that they have had an implant by Dr. Roach or anyone else here in The Villages,Fl. Between Franktalk, my discussion with a Coloplast representative, & the call from the previous implant patient I have decided to take the big step. Have to admit that I’m awfully nervous about being cut on down there, but I know all of you bionic guys out there were in the same frame of mind as I am right now. Will update my surgery date. Implants and sex are taboo, well implants anyway. I've finally come to the point that when I'm asked what the surgery is for I tell them just to see their reaction. Conversation change I didn't really hear that. My neighbor down the road is going for his as soon as he recovers from knee surgery. Even then he is very short in words and says "you know what". I was that way till last year. But being seen naked by so many strangers who poked prodded and pulled. Well that has killed my shyness. So here I go to yet another stranger Dr Kramer and will gladly show him my problem without even a hesitation. Comes with the territory I guess. But I'm sure you know that. It is impossible to escape if you have an implant. Front and center each and every time.

Just keep telling yourself that it's a vasectomy or circumcision... nobody ever seems nervous about those. You will be so happy 6 weeks after your surgery.
