Hey all - I’ve posted here before, I’m the guy whose problems stem from genetically high Lp(a) levels (premature heart disease) and low testosterone levels (possibly caused by a mini stroke at age 41). I don’t need an implant yet - testosterone meds and Cialis are doing the trick for now - but I am young to need that sort of help and I know where I am heading. Every now and then I come here and check out the implant forum because you guys give me so much hope for the future, something I really need. My wife is very sexual (I am lucky) and it sucks that I cannot be the guy who is naturally hard for her into my nineties - but I still CAN be the guy who goes through surgery in order to be able to pleasure her with a dick a twenty year old might be envious of, and THAT is not such a bad guy to be!

Wishing you all the best! I know the extreme stress and mind wrecking that ED can inflict, and it is good to see so many of you happy even after enduring all of that!

I swear sometimes I actually look FORWARD to finally needing an implant!
Genetically sky-high Lp(a) of 390 led to various heart diseases. Ultra-low testosterone of 120 (now 480 with Clomid) also contributed to ED at age 41. Managing with daily Cialis, but for me, the implant is a "when", not an "if".

Before my prostatectomy (2000) and implant insertion (2002), my wife privately shared that my erections had not been as hard as they were when I was younger (I was 51 when prostate was removed) -- they were hard enough to penetrate, but not as hard as when I was younger. (It also turned out to be a clue of poor cardiac health, and I had a heart attack followed by a 5-way cardiac bypass in 2001).

But with an implant, my dick is as hard as when I was younger. And man, do we both like that! :D
