I think you made the right decision to get the implant. I could never be a happy person if I suffered with ED for a long time. I love sex, so it was not a problem for me to decide on an implant eighteen years ago. Just had my third and I am real happy.

As far as to the length and girth, I honestly believe that you are going to be only as big as to what you were born with. You got to have the anatomy to have the size you wished for. It might stretch some, but not a lot more. That would be the last of my worries. Getting an erection again is the most important issue. ED is terrible in my opinion. You will love getting an erection again.

You friend should really be thanked for convincing you to do it. Congrats!

well I'm probably the biggest baby on this site. I had such a hard time making the decision to do this. I never had a ED issue. I fractured my penis 6/20. Less than a year ago and now I'm getting an implant. Denial was in my head. It was all happening to fast...but I knew I had a problem. I did not want to lose size, I did not want to lose girth and I wanted my insurance to pay for it. Well to date the only one I'm sure of is my insurance will not pay for it....so its cash situation. I want to give a special that's to a great friend I met on this site. I was going to do this procedure by my self. This gentleman drove over to be with me both days. I cant thank him enough.This is a great site and there are some terrific people here.
Ok I went in to surgery 4/17. I had an LGX 21cc x 12 mm and 2cm extenders? I will be very honest with you when I woke up I was scared to look. So I did and I was upset as to what I say. My dick did not look like my dick. I laid there thinking WTF did I just do. My dick looked like a tube of tooth paste. I spent $1000 Of dollars to get it fixed so I could date again and have sex and now after looking at it I really do not want to date or even have sex now. I did not sleep good. The next day they came in and deflated me. My flaccid size looked normal. WOW did I need that. That helped my mental frame of mind. I was reassured that this is normal. The girth will come back and the size too when you start cycling. Even the Dr told me that, and I trust him that It will come back. The Dr did an out standing job with my curve, which is now gone, and the pump you cant even see. I'm single and that stuff is important to me. Please note I am very happy with my Dr, and would recommend him to anyone. The gentleman who was with me and went through this, (and I talked to a few guys from FT and AMS champions) .....said to give it time because they all woke up with a dick that was different in size and girth at first. I'm trying to stay positive. I read encouraging comments from some of you all on FT.
To date I do not want to jinx my self but the pain is manageable, not overwhelming swelling. The Dr did a great job. The most uncomfortable pain I get is when I'm sitting or standing. Also if I touch when the pump is I get a pinch feeling. So for now its just a matter of time. I'm listening to my good friend who stayed with me at the hospital and some other FT guys. . Still hard to believe I did it though. I'll be so excited when (if) I can see my girth and size return! That would be a dream come true to have my size and girth back and get hard anytime I want!!! I pray that happens ….I would love to pay it forward to others for words of encouragement to help others. I just have to wait and see the outcome.

Fantastic. Glad everything went well. Now.. you need to get the swelling down. Ice it 3 to 5 times a day no longer than 20 minutes at a time. You can make an ice pack from popcorn, or frozen peas or corn... whatever. You can't judge your surgery until the swelling is gone and you are pumping. You are gunna love that thing.

The only issue I notice is my scrotum is very tight and it appears I have not testicles…..and the other issue and this seems to be the biggest at this point is where the pump is when I bend down or even just touch the scrotum I feel a sharp pitchy feeling. Hard to believe that if I just touch it with my finger it feels like something is sharp in there. Not sure if anyone has had that or if there is anything I should do? Maybe my sac has to get adjusted to it?

Interesting about the disappearing testicles. I've heard another member mentioning this and I may have lost mine as well.
I haven't investigated this but I guess I don't need em anymore.

I would guess that it is just a little pain train being in the station. It will leave but may take some time. Your body will adjust to it. You had said that your doc had stitched something in and wanted you to wait to cycle till that healed. So I would just leave it alone except for icing and what ever care that was advised by your doctor. And you should notify your doc if you have a problem that concerns you. And watch for signs of infection. Other than that just rest and give it time to heal.

Your words really hit home with me too. My implant was also on the 17th. I've been WTF did I do ever since and it's been less than a week. Only bad pain 1st day after being released. Took one narcotic pain pill and have been on Motrin ever since. My penis is bruised really bad with some scrotal swell. Dr. Karmer visited me on day 2 in hotel and said everything looked Prestine. Cath removal was the worse pain wise but was over quick. I'm still in the WTF mode. I'm thinking should have never done this. I am a very high anxiety person and worry about everything. Dr. used LGX at my request however I don't know the size. I'm so restless sitting around icing my privates. My dick is like me short and fat. I drove 6 hours home day after surgery with no problem. Still don't know if I did the right thing. In short, I really understand how you feel. Thus far everyday is a WTF.

I can relate. I'm just putting my faith in to a good friend that went through this. They say a lot of guys hit the WTF moment. I get more and more restless as the days go on feeling different down there. They say you have to be patient, and that is your best friend. I'm trying. I'm praying that what everybody says on here.... that your size and girth will come back. Not looking for any enhancement.... just me.

just an update on progress. Pain is not bad. The worse part is still my third nut. I feel a pitchy sharpness down there, just by a soft touch. Not sure why it feels that way. To be honest Id feel great if it wasn't for that pitch I feel. I hope its nothing. I worry a lot. Got my 3 week check up coming soon. This phase of just being patient is killing me. I'm worrying about locating the deflate button when the time comes. Watched a video. I'm sure its difficult getting that fee. Ill update FT as things change......

"Being patient" can drive us crazy, can't it? And I would add that one that is "short and fat" that is hard enough to penetrate is better than the reverse, right?

I will be joining you guys again on June 19th. Trying to keep a brave face. Having done this already should make it easier. But I'm learning that every time is new. Did you guys ever jump in the water from about 25 feet up? Did it in summer as a young person. What a rush. The fear just made you almost pee yourself. Didn't matter how many times before every time was the same. That's what I'm feeling now, about to pee myself. Much different than my second surgery to move my pump. I was so looking forward to that no angst at all.
I'm ready for this to be over and done safely.
Good luck on your healing. Everyone on FT told me that the internal swelling takes T I M E to heal. Didn't believe them but it's true. 3 weeks is stage one. The obvious cuts and etc. 6 weeks is stage 2 much of the internal part.At 3 months and stage 3 my shaft was almost normal. But deep down inside was still not quite right for at least 6 months and maybe more. So don't expect 100% before it comes. The guys are right be patient
