I've been examined by, talked to or contacted about 14 different urologists. So far not one of them has been able to tell me why I have toilet paper thin soft tissue inside of my penis.
I'm going to venture an non professional guess.
1. decades of ED has diseased my tissue causing it to shrink and scar. Scarring is the sign of diseased or damages tissue. I have to believe that the main cause was from ED.
2. VED stretched out my already diseased tissue 1 5/8". That can't be good must have made already thin tissue even thinner.
Bottom line if you have had decades of ED and have shrunk think twice about resizing quickly. Maybe the VED can heal the damaged tissue over time. And maybe you can re stretch over time gently and safely.
Would I do the same again? Of course but I would have used Dr Kramer like I had planned even if it meant another year's wait.

Hey Doug
I'm confused about exactly what you are implying here. How do you know that you have toilet paper thin soft tissue inside of your penis? And what do you exactly mean by this? Now that you are implanted, is the thin tissue even an issue?
I also have pretty significant scar tissue inside my corpus cavernosum, however, in my case, Dr. Goldstein believes that it is the scar tissue itself that has caused my severe ED. Are you sure that you ED caused more scar tissue, or do you simply think that your scar tissue was causing your ED?
Why are you implying that VED stretching was harmful to your penis or your tissue? Even if it did thin it out as you say, is that a problem once implanted? I'm only asking this because I have ED and significant amounts of scar tissue, and it has been shirking my penis, and I was very much considering using some VED therapy to perhaps try and stretch it out again b before I get my implant, so I am wondering why you are seeming to suggest it might not be a good idea?

20 years old. Severe ED for the past 5 years due to scar tissue.
Tried shockwave therapy in Greece, and PRP shot from Dr. Goldstein in San Diego. Both with no results.
Implanted with a AMS LGX 18cm + 2 RTEs, performed by Dr. Edward Karpman - 10/8/2019

WW,
Scarring and ED often go hand in hand. As your penis dies it scars. That damages many things including veins. Damaged veins leak and cause ED.
I restretched myself out 1 5/8" in about 60 days. That probably should have been at least 6 mos to a year, maybe. Might not have made a difference no one seems to know or even venture an opinion..
My Doctor freaked before surgery when he saw my (Doppler) excessive scarring had the AMS rep try to talk me out of the LGX for a CX just minutes before surgery. He was convinced that he would not be able to dilate me enough to fit the very soft LGX tubes inside. Opened me up and surprise. My tissue was toilet paper thin. After having read Mavericks posts I'm pretty sure that the tissue was so very thin he tore right through it and put my implant outside of the tunicas. Right now my left cylinder constantly wanders around some times is directly on top of my penis. Not painful just annoying.
He also did a normal sloppy measurement. Off by 1/4 inch. The excessive tension was too much for my soft tissue. If he did have the cylinders inside of my tunicas they did not stay there very long.
If your surgeon is great not just good he will put your cylinders in the right place soft tissue or not. Just my opinion. Hoping Dr Kramer proves me right.

WW,
Just noticed that you are 19. I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure that my perhaps 50 odd years of peyronies has done far more damage than your 5 years. I doubt that you have the ultra thin tissue that I have. In your shoes I would not worry about it if your doctor has not mentioned it.
VED saved my length hopefully it will be as kind to you too.
