Do we know of anyone choosing an implant for cosmetic reasons?

With all the length people go to improve cosmetically, do we have any knowledge of non-ED afflicted men choosing the Titan or AMS to improve a mediocre, but functional penis? Even if they don’t “exactly” have ED? I asked my doctor, and of course he said any surgeon who would do this would be acting in a very unethical manor, ……but the lines between “erectile dysfunction” and “erectile dissatisfaction” are very grey sometimes. I am like a lot of guys on this site, in that I’m really struggling with the implant decision, and wanting to exhaust all other options first, …..so I was curious If there were enough known positives to the implant to have persuaded anyone in the “penis improvement” community, to pull the trigger.

Dr. Kramer has a video on YouTube where he comments that he is working on a male porn star. Seems to fit your scenario in my mind.

I recall a Dr. Perito video where he said a rich patient brought in 4 of his buddies and bought them implants. One of his friends said he was getting it to be able to remain hard longer for his young trophy wife. I definitely recall him intimating he didn’t really need it, he just wanted the enhanced capability!

I've never admitted this just because. I did VED because reports showed it could cure ED. Well it did not work fast enough so I gave up. But my erections were getting harder and now my glans gets hard enough by itself to make my crooked penis straight. Now I'm not saying that I'm cured but I am saying that had I continued VED therapy every day it is very possible that using pills or trimix that I might have prolonged the agony.
Why?????

Doug;
That is not a bad thing. Nobody should have to live their life in pain or with severe Peyronie's Disease when there are definite treatments available. As you know, if left untouched/untreated, Peyronie's Disease will continue to get worse.. I say, good for you :)

here are my thoughts:

1) There are many issues and problems with implants (just read a few of the franktalk posts and you will know what I mean)

2) If your penis works great, ie no erectile dysfunction, the DO NOT get the operation (likely, you will not find a reputable surgeon anyway)

3) if you have "erectile dysfunction that is bad" then you should get the procedure.

4) there is a nice side effect of the procedure --- your flacid will look big and nice. I did not expect this, and I am thrilled that I have a nice looking flacid (I have a titan). BUT, THIS SHOULD BE CONSIDERED A SIDE EFFECT and I feel that one should never get an implant for cosmetic reasons.

Remember, the concept of upside potential and downside risk. (For example, all men would take the hair growing medicine propecia, but many stop the moment that they hear it might in rare cases cause permanent erectile dysfunction (ie, the risk and troubles caused by ED far far outweig the joy of a full head of hair)

Could not agree more with you guys. Had I not become impotent never would have considered this miracle. But I am saying that even with the problems I'm having and even if a year or 2 of VED would have given me a usable erection. Been there done that I know exactly how that story ends every time.
What I'm saying is you do not need to wait until the big bad wolf eats grandma before you have an implant. That's like walking around with a dead foot for years before you finally decide to trade it in for something that works.
Guys every ED story ends the same way. No sex or an implant. If you want more sex instead of less don't torture yourself and punish your wife. Give that dead dick the help it needs.
That's my 2 cents from a guy going in for his second revision in less than a year in June.
(I certainly did not do it to look good. Not with my now deformed dick)

Choosing surgery to remedy ANY kind of medical issue without trying ALL OTHER less invasive remedies is not a good idea. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I even have strong reservations about cosmetic surgery except in cases of accidents, burns, etc. Too many things can go wrong. Having raised rowdy boys (who turned out awesome, btw), I've earned every one of these gray hairs and wrinkles. :) The pot belly? That's on me. I just need to get my lazy ass back to the gym.

Peace out.

Years ago my wife got a breast lift and tummy tuck, which were obviously elective and which she emphatically did not need. The results were cosmetically excellent, but for some reason the whole thing turned me off. Our sex life ended for other reasons, but to this day she does not regret the surgery.

I believe that particular actor may be a member of FrankTalk and has posted here (or another actor with a similar story). He attested that his career (in gay porn) had to change (from being a bottom to being a top) because of E.D. Getting an implant changed that, obviously.

But the suggestion has also been made that an implant would be quite a "tool" for an actor in the porn industry.

edited: "(from being a bottom to being a top)" is obviously backwards. It should have read ""from being a top to being a bottom)".
