Request for provider advice - Dr. Egydio

Postby sdr2881 » Sun Apr 07, 2019 9:54 pm

Hi - first post on the forum, active reader.

- 37 years old, Type 1 Diabetic
- ED for 12 years - successfully managed with Cialis for 10
- Tried Tri-mix when Cialis failed, developed severe fibrosis within 6 months
- Currently have no erectile function, 1.5-2 inches lost length and 60+ deg. curvature

I have travelled for office visits with two of the most popular implant surgeons on this site. Both advise that I have excessive scar tissue development and should expect modest results (size wise) from a successful implant.

I get it - a working 5" (or less) is better than what I have now. At the same time, it's pretty hard to adjust to that after 30+ years of 6.5-6.75".

It appears that Dr. Egydio (in Sao Paolo - I'm in the US) is a seasoned expert in restoring length/girth. Although his staff and published articles give the appearance of a competent and seasoned medical professional...it's still a pretty scary leap of faith to think about jumping on a plane to pay non-insurance rates for a surgery in Brazil.

Most of all, I don't want to be here in a year just wishing I could go back in time to take a more conservative route to save myself from a procedure that made things much worse (i.e. what the Trimix did).

Can anyone on here reflect on Dr. Egydio's expertise?

Has anyone had a procedure with him?

Are there any doctors in the US who specialize in invasive length/girth restoration (scar tissue) with whom I should consult?

Thank You!

SDR,
I feel your pain. Before my implant I had shrunk from just over 7 inches 2 about 5 and 3/8 in. Had I done nothing that is exactly what I would be right now. But I did something and now I'm at 6.75 in. It is not advised but you can stretch yourself back out. It is much safer to Simply live with the 5 and 3/8 inches. But I did not do that. I bought a cheap vacuum device and very aggressively stretch myself back out to just more than 7 in in about 60 days. Because I was using excessive pressure I blistered my glands and stop using the vacuum device for a while. During that time I shrunk back down 2 about 6 and 1/2 in the night before my surgery.
I have no idea about this guy in Brazil. He may be wonderful but I would never go to a third world country to have this surgery. That's just me. Sorry about you guys who lives South of the Border that's just the way I feel. Unless you can get some solid data showing infection rates and successful outcomes I would be very wary. Good luck hope this helps

SDR,

I had pretty bad scaring and had to have distal and proximal corporplasty on both sides. I was around 7inch and now about 6.5 inches. The doc cut me up pretty good but all things considered the out come was good.

I used Dr Brian Christine in Birmingham, Al. I am from Atlanta but could not find anyone here I was comfortable with. You can do a phone consult with Dr Christine. If you want any additional info private message me.

Welcome to Frank Talk. I don't remember seeing ANYONE on here that has had that procedure successfully. If you have not already done so, I would consult Dr. Andrew Kramer from the USA or Dr. Gerald Brock from Canada. Also, I would get a VED. It doesn't have to be an expensive one, but MUST have a release valve. I got mine for $60 CDN at a sex shop. Dr. Paul Perito (another good one to contact) says: pump up the VED until it is still comfortable but one more pump would not be. You need to understand that every day that you still have ED, you are losing length and girth due to atrophy. The VED may slow or stop this and help restoring blood flow to your penis. When we are young and we wake up in the morning with a hard-on that you can pound nails with, that is the natural process that we replace the VED and implant with. I am happy to talk with you further if you like but I prefer the phone. You can PM me your number if you live in North America as I have a long distance phone plan. Also a good time and day to call. Hope this is helpful. :)

Larry
