Implant at 27(?) / My Story / Advice Appreciated

Postby Michael99 » Mon Apr 01, 2019 1:27 pm

Hi All!

This is my first post so thanks for having me, and before I continue, thank you so much for existing. I only discovered this site a few days ago and I nearly bounced with joy to see a community of others fighting though the same things I am! :) So lets get to it!

Unfortunately, I've been experiencing bad ED for some years now... Due to other illnesses I was struggling with I didn't even notice for quite some time as I was in and our of hospitals. However, once I finally got my health in order it became quite evident that this was a serious issue.

I can get hard though not hard enough, and typically will only see full size if abstaining from masturbation for a week or two / become quite horny; even then I cannot maintain in many stances.

As all normal doctors could do was add me to waiting lists for specialists I became impatient and paid to see a consultant myself (I received a referral and he is supposedly one of the best in my country). He gave suggestions for me to try including different meds, cock rings etc, but to no avail.

Next, he sent me for an ultrasound as he had suspected venous leakage from the beginning after hearing what I could / couldn't do when in specific positions / looking at my penis (he said it's bigger than normal which apparently puts a person at higher likelihood of venous leakage). He examined the test and said it pretty much confirmed the leakage! My test and all other functions are great for my age (better than the average) though this was of little comfort as I'm sure you can all relate!

The next move was to discuss more 'heavy' options which included ligation surgery in an attempt to fix the leak. From discussion with him this type of surgery works in approx. 2 in 3 individuals though to varying degrees. Some will see massive improvement, others will see slight, though improvement none the less.

I rolled the dice and opted for it as I knew what the next option would be. It was absolutely terrifying to say the least! But, for approx. 5 months thereafter I had my erections back!! It felt incredible, I could get aroused so easily and would be as hard as stone. But, sadly, the effect reduced from there (even with pills) and I am now back where I started. It did cost me but I do not in anyway regret having had it done. Being only 26 at the time I'm sure you can understand me needing to rule out possibilities before arriving at the so-called 'nuclear option'.

And so here I am.

Now 27 and seeing my consultant again shortly for the discussion on implants. It seems horrific to me at this age but to continue living without any ability to be close to someone... I cannot tell you how many girls I have cared about, and who have felt the same, that I have turned away. It's hurt them as they don't know what is wrong / can think it's something they did, and it absolutely cuts me as I want nothing more than to be in relationships with them / then have to watch them with other people..

I need to be able to live a life.

I have savings for the surgery which I will consider being well spent if it works. The consultant will discuss options which I am assuming will essentially involve a choice of what implant is most appropriate, Titan Coloplast etc. I already have a list of questions I am going to ask my consultant, how he measures the implant, will I lose length/girth, recovery time, how much work to take off etc.

What I am hoping for from you all is feedback on what you would consider most important to ask him? What you would consider most important to mentally and physically prepare? For any and all advice regarding anything I have written above.

This is needless to say a watershed moment for me. How this goes and decisions I make will have incredible impacts upon my well being for perhaps a very long time if not the rest of my life. I don't want to rush decisions but at the same time, after years of being alone with this, I am extraordinarily mindful of losing more time.. more of my life!

Sorry for such a long post! haha

Also, if anyone has questions on anything like the ligation surgery I had please feel free to ask me!

Michael,
This is Saturday can't believe no one has replied yet. Didn't I see you on another post?
Any way public measure yourself as a reference for length. Ask about the cut scrotal or pubic. Tell him to give you plenty of tubing for your pump do not put it anywhere near your penis. Center it in your scrotum. Use as few rtes as possible. Put the tubes coming out of the cylinders as deep as possible you do not want them in your shaft. Use glue not stitches better healing. Make sure your tips are well into your glans and are perfectly even. You do not want a permanently crooked cock. Most of all good luck

You are in great company. FT has saved many embarrassing moments for me. All questions are welcome. Since you are new to FT, I would use its search tool to find out about questions you may have about a topic... for example, Doug so valiantly told you to ask about the type of incision your uro might use. Before you make an appointment as well as afterward, look up infrapubic and peniscrotal incisions on here. It will give you the likes/don’t likes about either one as well as pain level, heal time, nerve loss, etc. this is just one topic to search. See how you will be on this for a while? Second, there are many diary’s or journals that are quite good. They show you a day to day account of what to expect if you want to get it done. My parting words are do your homework in here. Never be afraid to ask questions about anything, but know there is a wealth of info waiting for you! I almost forgot- one of the best things I did was call some of the guys prior to getting my implant. It’s one thing to type on a message board and it’s another thing to have a phone convo. I talked with DaveKell (not to call you out, brother) but he was phenomenal at helping me through the rough spot I was in. Guys are willing to talk to you and answer questions. Utilize that. Good luck!

Guys, thank you all so much for your replies and apologies for the delay. I've been falling somewhat down the rabbit hole recently going back and forth on whether this is a terrible mistake or not... And I haven't even met with the consultant yet!

I'm going through the journals now which are a godsend and will absolutely research the incisions etc. I can't face losing more years of my 20s to this... I need to move forward for once even if it is terrifying/costly.

And I also have to make a signature! For the moment I'll mark in this:

UK, 27 years old, current length (I haven't measured in a while) should be just over 6" but not sure about girth. The consultant is supposedly one of the best here though I won't be able to ask for info such as how many surgeries he does, outcomes, choice of implant etc until we meet just next month.

Once I get more specifics... and if looks like this is happening (I think it needs to because I can't keep living like this)... Then I 'll absolutely give thought to creating my own diary.

I've been terrible at responding and already I can thank you enough (am actually getting emotional as I type this), not just for these responses but for the private messages I've received. Cheers!

Please carefully read the post from a member named Cnidium the post is titled "I'm 27. I have an immplant. This is my log"

The experience of this 27 year old is so uplifiting. Here is a very long excerpt from cnidium:

Update Day 39

Got a text from the girl I was flirting around with on Thursday. I could tell right away she wanted to fuck. She was just quoting some song in the text messages. Went to her place, went out for some drinks with her and two of her friends. Two shots later and unknown amount of unknown mixed drinks that I was told I needed to drink and we were back at her place without her friends there. I was already pumped up half away before we went to the bar. She wanted to keep drinking, so as she poured some shitty vodka in a mug in her dark kitchen I pumped up some more, about 2 feet away from her. We made our way to the couch, started making out with her laying across me. Started to rub her out. I got too horny to sit there so we went up stairs. She went up first, so I was behind her. While walking up the stairs I tucked my dick up in my pants and pumped it more, probably good enough for sex at this point. We get into her room and she says she needs to use the bathroom. She leaves for a few minutes. I rip off all my clothes and pump that bitch up as hard as I can. I mean I was crushing the hell out of the inflate pump. She comes back in the room and I am just standing there in the dim light of her TV with my dick just sticking out like its the boss. I smashed that pussy. I don't think I was hurting her, but at one point she sounded like she was crying. I took that as a sign of it felt good with a little bit of pain. I think I was right since she wants me to come over again. But ya, she was my bitch. And she had no idea my dick wasn't normal. Problem was I didn't wear a condom, so I bought her plan B the next morning. I guess I don't really like her, because if I made her pregnant and she decided to keep it I would have been depressed. But she took the pill, I made her take it in front of me.

What are the important parts to take away from this?
- You can have it partially inflated before you even meet some girl.
- There are plenty of times to inflate it without her knowing. In the dark light of a room when she is turned way, while walking up the stairs behind her, when she goes to the bathroom, when you go to the bathroom, during foreplay, ect.
- I didn't really think of, much less stress about, having an implant during all of this. Obviously I am aware it was there, but at no point was I thinking to myself 'o shit I hope I can pull this shit off, I hope she doesn't know'. It all flowed naturally without too much effort on my end.
- Wear a condom, even if its been 4 years and you are horny as fuck. You will sleep better knowing you didn't knock her up.

My plan now is to do what I use to do. Go out with the boys, or solo, and meet women. Have fun and not care too much where the night takes me. I will also be trying to move up in my work so the potential financial stress of having an implant the implied future revisions are less of a burden on me. But, I have plenty of time, and I think having fun without too much care is whats really on my mind now.

Ask me some questions. Ill reply for about a week then I am probably out for a long time, maybe months or years maybe forever or until I get a revision. Everything I wanted to happen and get back has come back from having this implant, and I know its only going to get better.

Peace out.

If you want to be like 27 year old cnidium, then get the courage to have an implant.

I PM'd and I think I was first. I am tired of arguing with everybody about everything I say so most of my posts are now PM's. Of course, I have a lot of allies but the Debbie Downers just drive me to drink. :)
