Long term inflation protocol

I was implanted with an AMS 700 CX. Oct 4 2019. I am very happy with the result. I found FT very useful and comforting in making this decision. Thank you all.

I was given a six month post operative protocol.. Inflate once a day to mild discomfort which I am observing. I was wondering what if any protocol I should use after 6 months? My doctor had me inflated 60-70 percent for 2 weeks after surgery. I expect the inflated cylinders cut off blood flow to any remaining erectile tissue. I am totally dependent on the cylinders for any erection.

My question is do I need to regularly inflate the device to maintain size and health.?. How often? For how long? Do I run the risk of wear on the device and speed the need for revision. Those of you with long term experience please advise
Thanks

I got my Titan in 2008 and have never used it (see signature). I asked Dr. Kramer about inflating, and he advised me to "inflate it every now and then to keep things stretched and healthy." I inflate mine every couple of months for a minute or so, and every time it seems to be just fine.

I think it's good to inflate now and then just to prevent encapsulation of any parts.
