Given a choice

Postby ChosenOne619 » Wed Feb 27, 2019 7:36 pm

I am 22 years old and after I get my circumcision. I might still have my Ed problem as I remember being kicked in the groin hard and erection weren't rock hard like everyone my age say they get. My urologist presented me with Ved, injections, putting medicine through my pee hole, and the big one prostrtic implant. Which one would be my best bet

I think the usual progression is pills, then injections and finally an implant.
It's gotta be a very stressful decision to make at your age.

Well first sorry you’re dealing with this ED issue as young as you are. You gave a lot of info, you say your urologist offered this and that as options, but since you got kicked in the groin did he suggest maybe injecting your penis and doing an ultrasound? You didn’t say if the kick hit your penis. If it did and sufficient force hit penis, it may have been damaged creating a venous leak! If so, then you basically have your answer as to treatment protocol.
Typically, if no injury is involved, after examining patient, the first course is PDE-5 pills.
At least from my experience. The good news is you’re under the care of a urologist.
Good luck with your circumcision. I got circumcised as an adult too. It went very well, I actually had zero pain and I’m happy with results.
Keep the group posted as to your progress on the ED journey.
Diagnosed venous leak. Going with injections rather than implant for the time being.

Yes, take the least invasive treatments first. If hypnosis works, use it. Pills are less invasive than injections which are more invasive that suppositories inserted into your urethra (pee hole).

If you can hold off on more invasive procedures, there may be other treatments available before the most drastic one, implant. Having an implant guarantees you will never ever again have a natural erection.

I spoke with one surgeon in my research who was troubled that he implanted a patient who would have been MUCH better served by oral medication (Viagra/Sildenafil). Unfortunately, this was a few months before that medication became available.

Work your way up through the least invasive treatments first.

My opinion only
Use a ved and or both a traction device. It will help with your penile health as time goes by or up until you get implant.

After you are fully healed from circumcision, try pills again.

Thank you guys and yes it's pretty stressful dealing with this at my age. I still get erections but they aren't hard. I've tried pills with no results. Injections will cause my penis to become shorter and thinner after years. I'm thinking suppositories and ved's. But I won't hold back my thoughts... I do want an implant. It sounds so awesome to have an erection on command with a few pumps. But it's a very big decision. And I will keep you all posted on my journey and whatever happens I cant forget this website as it helps to know there are others who in the same predicament as me.

Chosen,
If your erections are painful and waking you up at night in the first week or two after circumcision, that means your erections are hard enough for sex.
You won’t need anything else except maybe small dose of Cialis or Viagra for performance enhancements.
Good luck with your circumcision.

Get a venous leakage Test. If you have 6 or more either side then chances are nothing but an implant will help. Who told you being circumcised would cure ED? That's a total crock. Spare your penis the additional trauma. Keep your foreskin.
