Botched Dilation

It's going on 7 months and I'm still discovering new things. The night after surgery my glans right side was up about 1/4" higher than my left. After when fully pumped the tips feel perfectly even yet the head of my penis is still tilted. Last night I looked carefully at the 3D images of my erect penis CT scan moving back and forth again and again looking at the tips from top and front. This AM I was squeezing the tips and the light finally came on. My left tip is well seated inside of my glans but my right tip stops beneath my glans. I had 2 different surgeons one dilated the right and the other the left. The one on the left did a perfect job. The guy on the right botched it. My tissue was paper thin so no reason to get it wrong.
Yesterday I made a very hard decision. Drive 3 hours to get fixed or drive 15 hours? My wife wants me to use Perido and of course I still want Kramer as I have from the start. Well I watched Perido's video the good the bad and the ugly again and again and finally chose Kramer. In the Ugly part Perido shows a deformed penis and says "we are not in the business of making flaccid penises look good". I know that this video is probably decades old that technology has advanced and that Perido has changed with it but apparently he hasn't thought it important enough to update his video. I would never trust a guy who has that attitude.

Doug,

Not knowing the results of my second revision yet and worrying if it is right I would probably make a different choice in surgeons. If I could do it again I would either use Eid or Kramer. I researched my surgeon and did my home work, but I know Eid and Kramer are at the top. I wish I would have made the fight and used the very best. I am not a hugh fan of Perido.

I will be honest I am going with a local surgeon strictly due to personal reasons dealing with my wife's health issue. It is the only thing making me nervous about this implant. I wanted to use eid or Kramer but would have had to wait a year until my wife is well enough to make the trip. Cannot wait anymore so am going to see what a coloplast center of excellence will do for me. Either way I am going to have something to pump up in a few weeks.i hope.

Choose wisely. I had a choice of three local surgeons or Dr. Ostrowski (who trained under Dr. Walsh), Dr. Kramer and Dr. Eid (Dr K and Dr E were long shots and would have required a lot of red tape). I interviewed all and settled on the one with whom I had the best rapport and treated me as a full fledged member of the medical team.

Dr. Eid wrote to me, "Find a surgeon in love with his craft." Also advised that I should interview past patients.

I am happy with my choice.

My story may or may not influence your next step, but I share it in the hopes that it will provide food for thought for you and for others.
