I will say if my first urologist had done a doppler ultrasound and told me I was leaking blood as fast as it was going in, I would have about 2 years on an implant by now. Instead he told me I was getting older viagra would do it. Peyronies showed up about a year later whether from complications from fall or trying to have sex with a soft noodle. It just made my whole situation worse. 1 inch down from my 7. I spend a lot of time in traction or ved just to keep my 6. If that fin first doc had told me I was never getting a hard erection again without an implant. I would have gotten one the next day.

I would still have bee nervous but wouldhavegotten it 2 years or so ago. Now I have peyronies, a corkscrew dick. And just hope the docs are correct when they tell me the titan will take care of it. 9days and counting.

I wish you the best my friend. I'll keep you in my prayers. My fracture has also left me with a crooked dick, and soft... Please keep me update on your progress

And, as I understand it, the difference in rigidity/hardness between the Coloplast Titan and the AMS CX is significant and the difference between the AMS CX and the AMS LGX is not as much.

That is, if the Titan has a (mid-shaft) rigidity score of 100, the CX might have a rigidity score of 80 and the LGX a rigidity score of 75 (all fully pumped) and (for comparison) a natural, youthful, erection a rigidity score of 60. ((Numbers pulled out of thin air, since I have only had experience with the memory of my natural erections at 16-20 years old and the LGX for the past year and a quarter, but these are my best guesses)). For those who have more experience or better ideas, feel free to comment to improve my estimates. I will thank you for well-supported arguments.

Hi mate.I am 4 months post implant surgery.I had a LGX implanted. How many pumps is required to make my erection regid to the max. ?It does not feel as hard as my youth day.Does implant get harder over time?
Should I be concerned about that?

dsawan, This is a very old thread. Have you heard of the Perito exercise? U tube MTP 57 , Perito. It makes your implant much harder. # of pumps vary.we are all different. I am about 35 to rock hard. steel rod hard but painful.

I have a Titan 24cm XL and it's been 5 1/2 weeks. This is my first implant so I can speak to other brands and models. However, as far as length I was 7" on trimax before the implant, I'm cycling that least twice daily for as long as I can stand it and I'm up to 6 3/4". Insofar as rigidity, when fully pumped it is harder than any natural or trimix erection I've ever had. It is so hard I believe I a truck could run over it and bounce. Now that being said it's still mighty achey .

Should I be concerned about that?

I have noted that if I try to depress the side of the implant's shaft with a fingertip, the resistance is the same as the resistance to depressing the pump bulb. How do those two pressures differ with your implant?

Assuming your memory of your youthful rigidity is correct, I am nonplussed at your situation.

Number of pumps is so variable from man to man and even in the same man, depending on how he is pumping. Full-depth squeezes, wherein the pump bulb is squashed completely flat or shallow pumps. The one might only take a ew pumps while the other may take a hundred. I can pump 30-40 times (starting out full, wall-to-wall and getting shallower as the pressure in the implant increases. At that point, I am as rigid as my best youthful erections. Probably more rigid. I can hang a bath towel on it.

How to test hardness/rigidity? The simplest test is to hold the base of your penis steady with one hand and try to bend the shaft (gently-don't try to do 90 degrees, just see if you can get a little flex). Of course, the real test is if you can penetrate a vagina (or anus) of a partner without your shaft buckling.

My rigidity, as I recall, immediately after healing was limited by my willingness to pump as hard as I could. Now, years later, I do not hesitate to pump up as hard as I can (without putting the pump bulb in a vise). I can bend my glans upward a little bit with a pound or two of pressure and downward almost not at all.
