It took me over 2 years for things to work out. Just keep using VED while you wait.

I, too, used the VED to maintain elasticity and oxygenation of my tissues while I worked on getting authorization and selecting a surgeon. Glad I did. Kept me from losing size, too (I believe).

Paying attention to the state of your penis (and not in a disheartening sort of way, but in a way not dissimilar to paying attention to your car by washing and polishing it and changing the oil on schedule does - making you feel better about it) is a good way to maintain a positive outlook on your (sexual) future.

I used the pump shortly after RP. No problems before, but the nerves were not spared during RP, no signs of life a year later. I was scared about the implant as well, but for me, it was either go for it or have a wet noodle. Even though I could perform somewhat with the pump, I wanted some semblance of spontaneity. Never tried the injections because of this, and didn't sound appealing anyway. 6 months out, pretty well satisfied with the implant.

How can one gain length "after surgery"? It would seem like the implant size is a constant in the equitation, and once inflated to its maximum size, there would be no more length to be gained. If you were able to stretch the penis, wouldn't you eventually have the penis exceed the length of the implant? and need a revision? so as to accommodate your new, longer, stretched out penis?

NeedHelp-

When my first MD suggested an implant after a diagnosis of Peyronies I looked at him as if he had two heads! I was around 40 at the time and couldn’t FATHOM having to get an implant at such a young age. Three urologists later, and almost 4 years, I had exhausted my options.

My AHA! moment came after a black tie benefit with my wife. We went out dressed to the nines! We drank ourselves silly, but kept our wits about us. And then we danced all night. At one point a young lady came up to us and asked us how long we had been married. I replied 14 years. She looked at us in amazement and said,” and you guys still manage to have this much fun with each other?” When it was time to drive home, I had my hand on my wife’s thigh and she invited me to explore. The whole ride home was amazing as you can imagine!!! We got home and, of course, I was not able to perform. It was at this moment exactly that I said,” enough is enough!” My wife wanted to be with me and I knew the only way to do that was get an implant.

My point is, because you are not ready now does not mean that you will not be ready indefinitely. You have to do the surgery if and when you are 100% ready. This doesn’t mean you will have reservations or be scared, you will just be ready. This peace will fall over you and the day you book your surgery, your anxiety will lessen. The healing process may take longer than expected, you may have some speed bumps, but it will be worth it. You will be able to perform. Better than you have and the struggle will be over.

Wait for your AHA moment. It may take a while, but when it happens, you will know that it is now time. In the mean time, stay here. Amongst this community of brothers. Pick our brains. Lye in the wings and just learn. And... please, when your time has come, tell others of your hesitation so that it becomes a story so others can learn from it as well.

Good q1uestion:

Many reports have it that a second implant (replacing a first implant that failed for mechanical/hydraulic reasons) are longer than the first inplant. This suggests that stretching of the tunica albuginea is possible over a period of time (usually years).

Third implants (if they are longer than the second) suggest that stretching over long periods of time is possible.

But, my opinion is that expecting such lengthening is a fool's errand. Take the erection you have and make the best of it. Do not expect improvements in length and you will never be disappointed. If such things happen, the surprise will be pleasant.

In the meantime, enjoy the miracle that rigidity (at whatever length) provides.

Well said Lost
I repeat, it’s a dick stiffening procedure not a dick lengthening one.

In much agreement! An implant is a Dick stiffening procedure. I have had two revision the second revision the implant used is 1.5 cm shorter than my first two. Original implant hurt most of the time and second implant had issues probably from the damage the first implant caused. If I did get a little additional length from the first implant it sure was not worth it, necessary, or wanted. I am still three weeks out until I get my second revision fully inflated. Hopefully the third implant is the charm.

Your best dick is your original dick. Not saying some guys don’t get additional length without issue, but it is not a chance I would want to take.

A couple of nights ago I took care of my wife sexually without the use of my unit. Fingers , tongue, lips and a toy did the job and did it well. I can’t use my dick yet but I sure can take care of my wife. So if my dick is a little longer or a little shorter it is not that important. I will say I can’t wait to use my stiffened dick.

That is the question. I know that every brand of implant slowly stretches. But that is not what happened to me. My 2 surgeons showed me I'd be about 6.1 to 6.3 after implant. I am now 6.75". It seems as if my entire package is rising up from within. If so then I am simply stretching my ligament out that makes your penis stand up when you pinch your anus muscles.

I am finalizing all the details for my titan on March 7th. It has been over 2.5 years since I fell and my ed started. I will say if my first urologist had done a doppler ultrasound and told me I was leaking blood as fast as it was going in, I would have about 2 years on an implant by now. Instead he told me I was getting older viagra would do it. Peyronies showed up about a year later whether from complications from fall or trying to have sex with a soft noodle. It just made my whole situation worse. 1 inch down from my 7. I spend a lot of time in traction or ved just to keep my 6. If that fin first doc had told me I was never getting a hard erection again without an implant. I would have gotten one the next day.

I would still have bee nervous but wouldhavegotten it 2 years or so ago. Now I have peyronies, a corkscrew dick. And just hope the docs are correct when they tell me the titan will take care of it. 9days and counting.
18 cm plus 1 rte titan installed March 2019. Revision March 2020 by Dr. Andrew Todd, Richmond KY. He replaced the titan with an AMS 700 LGX 18 cm cylinder plus 2 rte for 20 cm total length.
