Doug, glad you are fine. What is a day without some "Who needs this shit?" Cheers man and a hug. Maybe a nice relaxing bottle of peach wine for medicinal care. Hugs man.

I don't know if this is right or wrong, it just is.
I'm the king of guy that blushes when I think of going to the Doctor wondering if he's going to want to see where the sun don't shine. Er, or I was. Then I got ED and that screwed me good lost my shy virginity real fast.
Last year before implant I had 8 major anal bleeds in a row. And I was out of the country. Well I had already dropped my drawers for so many strangers because of ED that when my PCP feared the worse and sent me in for a butt scope, no big deal, I was out anyway, right? That turned out negative so it was off to the hemorrhoid specialists. Now the other Doc had already given me the rubber glove test. So I read up before my visit to see what to expect.
Don't recommend it but had to do it. The nurse was nice gave me a gown left the room I changed the Doc came in had me kneel on the edge of the exam table lifted me up had me lay forward parted my gown parted my cheeks and the fun began. This time I was not so lucky. You need to choose which surgery you need the most, he said. I'm already scheduled for my implant. Then I'll see you next year.
Well last Wednesday was next year. So between visits this year and last oh my gosh I have been naked if front of more strangers both male and female who have tugged on my penis poked prodded squeezed my prostate, squeezed my scrotum WHILE I WAS AWAKE AND WATCHING that when the Doc came in this time and said Oh the nurse did not give you a grown do you want me to have her bring you one I can come back. Without hesitation I just stripped and kneeled. Don't bother Doc I said let's just do this.
He did. The good news is that I don't need that surgery anymore. Not sure if my implant had something to do with that but I'll take it.
You shy guys who get embarrassed easily and are heading for an implant. Watch out! before you know it you'll being walking out the door to get your news paper butt naked without even realizing it.

I really don't mind being naked, examined, etc. by strangers. But I really don't like that happening when with (or when it's done by) friends whom I will see in social settings. Yikes! :o

Agreed.
Getting an implant is not for the timid. But if I can do it anyone can.

When I had my shaft stripped naked back in 2015, I had a catheter in for 1 full month. During that time it blocked up 4 times and ALWAYS when my doctors office was closed so I had to go to emerg. So, just imagine... you tell the triage nurse (two of them wanted to "examine" it), then the nurse take you into the treatment area and she "needs" to "examine" it and then, the doctor came in (one of them had a female med student with him). By the time it came to my implant surgery, I had been "examined" by half the medical staff in Ontario I think. Shy??? Heck no, not anymore.

What went right, FRANK TALK

Postby DougAnd » Sat May 04, 2019 9:54 pm

Last year before my implant I was desperate to talk to someone ANYONE who had an implant. It just wasn't happening. In March I had self appointed vacuum therapy to cure my impotence. Was immediately shocked to see how much length I had lost. For about four years I had studied penile implants but knew nothing about erectile dysfunction. So I googled it and found Frank Talk. Instead of only one guy who had an implant I found hundreds. By searching the archives dozens of different men answered all of my questions many-fold plus gave me deeper insight into things I did not even know existed.
By May my Doppler revealed that my decades long fight with Peyronies had ended in my sound defeat. I was devastated. Once again the positive attitude of Frank Talk came to my rescue giving me the courage to kick ED's arse permanently. In July just before my operation I officially joined this forum. After my implant you guys helped me through a very scary period. And you still are! Last month I was about to pee myself in fear. Thanks to you all I have finally come to grips with my future and I realize that a successful outcome with minimal surgery is almost assured. To All of you guys including our tireless moderator Larry, my heartfelt thanks and eternal gratitude go out. May all of you guys cursed by this horrible disease find peace in your choice whatever it might be.

You're welcome buddy... didn't we chat on the phone as well?? I have talked to so many members, I can't even keep track of them anymore, but enjoyed every single one of them. :)

Sent in more paperwork to Dr Kramer for my June surgery. I may need to do a stress test. That will be a squeaker to complete in time. Started out months early and still. The plot thickens (like figgy pudding)

It finally went right

Postby DougAnd » Thu May 16, 2019 9:48 am

This will be my last post for awhile, need a break from this too exciting ride. Thank you all for your kind support. Especially Larry who has to put up with all of our BS daily. And thank you Rob for finding Dr Licht.
On the 14th I saw Dr Mark Licht who in his decades of practice may have done more implants than even Eid. Long story short he saw my Cat scan and said alright let's take a look. Got that look on his face. Anytime a Doc looses his poker face it is never good news. Do you mind pumping up? Bracing for the worst I grabbed my glans pulled hard with one hand while pumping with the other. Got 95% or so and stopped. He squeezed my cylinders. Amazing he said you've fixed yourself. What? By stretching yourself out You have fixed your crossover about 90%. I'm going to notify the medical community. I have never seen a patient fully utilize their LGX like you have. Great girth, great length and nearly perfect symmetry. A CX will never give you that. Most guys just pump a little and that's that.
We went over all of my options.
Dr Carrion was right at the time of your CT your situation was tenuous. But you have fixed yourself so now unless you have rough sex daily in unusual positions there's no chance of the right tip penetrating. Your glans is narrow even if I did a revision it would probably go right back to where it is now.
To be fixed 100% I'd need an operation like Maverick had. He did say that I could have the right tip stitched into place using a small incision.
Bottom line I am safe. Crooked glans crooked shaft but safe.
You don't always get everything you want but with an implant you always get much more than you need to have sex.
