Incision Peno-scrotal versus infrapubic -- can you feel the tubing

Infrapubic incision = cut is above the penis
Peno-scrotal incision = cut is underneath the penis.

I was told by my surgeon that peno-scrotal is better since the tubing exits the cylinders on the undersurface of your penile shaft -- therefore those tubes cannot be felt during lovemaking.

In contrast, I was told that the infra-pubic (above the penis) incision means that the tubes exit the cylinders along the top of the penile shaft; and there are some situations where the women might feel those tubes during love making.

A few months ago, I saw a picture of an implant where the bulges from the tubes could be seen along the top surface of the penis. This seemed like a not good situation to me since I could imaging that a woman might feel then during deep thrusting.

Similarly, some have stated that they are not comfortable with the cock ring because it constricts around the tubes .

For me, personally, my tubes enter from the underside of my penis, and the entry is way back, so that they absolutely cannot be felt during lovemaking and also I have no concerns about a cockring squeezing on the tubes.

Certainly, telling your surgeon how to do the operation (infrapubic versus peno-scrotal) is way out of line, but I have heard enough here on franktalk that there does indeed appear to be an issue with the infrapubic approach when it comes to being aware of the tubes.

Brothers, here is a poll please reply and tell us :

a) "can you feel the tubes along the top of your penis"
and
b) "were you infrpubic (above penis) or "peno-scrotal" (below penis)

Here are my answers:
1) "I cannot feel the tubes entering the cylinders at all" There is no extra ridge of tubing anywhere along my shaft.
2) I was peno-scrotal incision (the cut was Underneath my penis)

I was infra pubic. There is more plumbing showing than you can believe. I have 5 cm rte just to get the entrance to my dick up in front of my pubic bone. Still very useable.

I had peno-scrotal incision.
My tubing is visible all around penis base and in scrotum.

I have had both: First was through the top and you could not see any tubing. Second revision was through the base of the penis where it meets the scrotum and you can feel the tubing on the side and naturally you can feel them. I prefer the top better then the scrotum. Faster healing and less chance of infection. Not that I got an infection, but it took longer to heal from the scrotal incision.

Mine was "above" infrapubic, and I have no viable tubing anywhere, to me, looks very natural.

My doctor said the peno-scrotal tubing was more complex and ended up with longer tubes. Of course, he's big supporter of infrapubic. For me, the tubes are not visible. I can feel on a little, a the base of my penis if I search for it, but my wife has not been able to feel it.

Infra pubic.
I can locate the tubing if I really feel for it but they are not visible in any way.....just as i know where to feel for the reservoir.
Healed very quickly and no infection at all.
