Implant Question

Thank you in advance for those of you who are willing to help fence sitters over the hump.
My distal measurement both sides was 10 cm and proximal 11 cm. So my LGX with rtes is 21 cm long. My first implant doc promised me that he would take about 1 inch off of my natural length. The next guy would not guarantee that I would not loose 2 inches. The next two guys were a team and averaging them out they showed me I'd loose about 3/8" from the implant process. It's been just over 6 months I could not really pump until right before Christmas but I have stabilized at 1/4 inch longer than I was the night before my implant. So that is 5/8" more than what my doctors told me.
If you guys know what your distal and proximal measurements are, the type and length of your implant and about how long your best fully pumped is on average I think we will find that my case is not unusual and that Doctors often tell you things to cover themselves just in case. In other words you guys who are stuck with a uro who says he will shorten you like mine did that probably will not be the case. Unless you have special circumstances I think you will come out ahead.
Thanks

Well maybe. But do your research. My local uro said I'd loose an inch and he had no one he'd done an implant on to talk to me. Another doc in the group did and when I talked to him he said I would loose an inch. Another doc I considered that was just outside the edge of insurance coverage and was the implant specialist and had a 3 month wait to get to first appointment but did have someone that he had done an implant on to talk to said the same thing. I would loose. So when your doc says you will loose ask to speak to former patients that were implanted and ask them about lose of size. Might be CYA by doc like posted above and it might be true like in the 2 cases I found in my area.

I have an AMS 700 implant. My circumference is about the same as before the surgery, and I may have lost about a half inch in length.

I chose a well-respected local urologist and am back to my original (meaning pre-prostatectomy) length.

I could give a long answer here but I would like to chime in. When I got my first 700 whatever AMS didn't have what I see they have today. What I did know with AMS they had major pump failure. I lost both length (2 inches) and girth (close to 2 inches) and the same for my next revision from AMS with the same doctor.

WHAT I DID LEARN: Guys it isn't the size that matters. Sure I was almost devastated when I realized what I lost. It wasn't my doctor's fault AMS just didn't make something to take care of more than 6 to a maybe 6 1/2. My doctor opted for the 6 inch mark in length to try and give me more girth. I know you want the stats: I was 8" in length and 5 1/2 around for girth before my implant. Once I moved pass the disappointment I realized I had a fine working DICK. If someone I might date and or have sex with didn't appreciate what I could actually do in bed and with my new found toy, she or he needed to go. Yes, I swing both ways. My doctor wasn't famous, small private practice with a small community hospital but he was good. I became someone he would have other guys call me facing an implant who was scared shitless. He and I are still friends and I have recommend a guy from FT to do check into doing his implant. You also need to find many of my other post for my full story about implants in fact, under Implants I started a thread about how long you have had an implant and it appears I am the longest at almost 27 years, dating back to 1991 at age 41 1/2. There was no FT for me to get help from.

If you want to know more send me a PM but I encourage you to read ALL my post including "How Long Have You Had Your Implant".

Honestly, as long as I don’t lose > 1 inch if I get one, I really don’t mind so much and I’m not exactly long either. 5 inches or thereabouts. Women like girth for starters and what’s paramount is function. Try to relax on length a bit more I’d say.

thanks guys. Certainly was not the reply I was Expecting. Have to think things through a little bit more. I can't believe the my two guys just accidentally made me too long. That makes no sense. Maybe vacuum therapy made the difference. But that also makes no sense. I stretched myself out to just over 6 and 3/4 in. And still I cannot Escape from my tips. That makes no sense if my implant should only provide about six and a quarter inches Max. it is an LG X but I've never been able to consistently use my scrotal pump so it should not have expanded much at all if anything.
Sorry guys. Right after my implant I was convinced that they had indeed shorted me. The trauma was very similar to losing a loved one.

I wasn't going to make this a public post but decided different. I have your explanation and it is medically correct I BELIEVE. LOL I was making a post on another thread and making that post it clicked why you ended up with an inch more dick.

I do have a lot of medical training, I have worked with 3 different urologist, the VA Hospital in Biloxi, MS with a ton of medical doctors, specialist and you name it. I worked ER, OR, wards and even assisted with Autopsies and did some fill in in medical transcription when they were behind all because I keyboarded over 90 WPM and still do.

The reason: You have to know there is somewhere between 1 1/2 to 3 possible 3 1/2 inches of dick up inside us. It is possible you had the max and what actually happen in surgery was that a small portion, about an inch did slip down when the cylinders were in place. Attached to the cylinders are something called extenders which anchor and hold the cylinders in place where your dick is up inside. It is very possible and I am almost certain that when they inflated your implant to its max, some of your dick inside actually slipped and they most likely had to drop back and punt again. It makes perfect sense and from what I know about anatomy is the only answer. If it is something else I would love to know. Most guys generally only have about 1 1/2 to 2 inches of dick up inside. That is why when you have a fully boned erection you could make it flex, hold a bath towel or actually move your partner (if light enough) around on the bed with your dick and body weight. For years I was so damn skinny but 6' 2" and I had some good times before ED hit at about 19 1/2.

I trust this helps.

Wes,
Thanks for your input. I do know that my implant growth is coming from deep inside. 11 days after surgery (I was about 4 3/4 inches) and flopped over bent to one side I asked the AMS nurse if I had somehow pulled one of the rtes out of place. She said that was impossible. The only thing that makes any sense is if instead of pulling my tips out I am pulling my rtes up. As I do the tissue behind them closes up and heals over. Not saying that is right the AMS nurse said it was impossible. I have no idea and don't really care anymore. It works. End of story.
