The Damned Glans

Postby defiant » Tue Feb 05, 2019 4:33 pm

I wanted to thank everyone who responded to my recent thread. I really do appreciate the support from everyone. Thank you.

Again, I know this subject has been talked to death but for my sanity, please help me understand the impact this surgery has upon the glans; how that affects penetration, how common it is and methods to deal with it (if necessary).

It has been my understanding - indeed, I have even asked the highest volume implanter in Europe this question and he assured me so - that glans engorgment can and often does get diminished/eradicated by implant surgery but that it does not affect penetration.

I do know that some men retain glans engorgement which is fantastic but for those that don’t (assuming the tips are in place), is sex without the glans engorgement really so terrible?

Several threads recently have led me to believe that the sex is essentially terrible without it; demanding the need for things such as continued use of PDE-5i, cock rings and so on.

Surely the point on implant surgery is to get away from these things.

Can you implanted folk please clear this up for me. Because it’s one of the things holding me back.

Some personal info about me - well, my glans at100% is huge. And so I suspect I’m going to see a noticeable drop in length post surgery. I guess I can I make my peace but as I’m still capable of it, I do harbour hope it will continue to engorge.

Thank you, all!

I haven't had sex with my implant yet, but I find that I can even now get a semi and notice some engorgement. That leads me to believe that my glans could engorge when aroused with the implant activated?
Do you find getting a semi is possible without pills?

My girlfriend says that the ridge behind my glans (the corona) is quite stimulating as I cause it to move in and out of her. (Note; I am circumsized). This, happens when I go past her vaginal sphincter in and out and if my glans stays completely within her vagina.

If my glans is engorged, of course the sensation would be greater than if it was not engorged.

So, the shape of my glans is important to her, and firmness/engorgement makes it more able to be felt.

I hope that helps.

The point of the implant (medically speaking and in insurance-speak) is to restore a lost essential function. Sexual pleasuring of one's partner is not that function for many insurance adjusters/companies. It is essential for many men/couples, though. Largely (though this attitude is changing over time) what the bureaucrats see as the implant's essential function is to enable a man to deliver sperm into a vagina.

"Essentially terrible" is a subjective term. I would ask, "Compared to what?"

Sex with my glans engorged is GREAT. Sex with my glans not engorged is great. Simply having sex at all is a lot better than terrible.

This is my greatest concern about the implant too.
Any information on using rings with an implant would be great.
I hate soft glans, feels rubbish for both partners.

Thanks for the reply.

So when you have sex with no engorgement, i) is it noticeably harder to penetrate? ii) is it uncomfortable? iii) does your partner still enjoy sex?

Yeah but how can you know that in the context of having an implant?

That would be an entirely different feeling.

In short, I find it not noticeably harder to penetrate her. But, of course, I do concentrate a lot of effort into foreplay to ensure she is relaxed and well lubricated.

I have not been able to detect a LOT of difference in engorgement. Usually, before I climax. my glans is fuller than it is after I climax. When we have a second session of coitus, as I penetrate her vagina again, there is so much lubrication from both our bodily fluids that penetration (glans not as engorged as the first time) is almost easier than it was the first time around.

Never uncomfortable at all. Note that the implant tips go about half-way into my glans (which is just about ideal, I understand) and I have an LGX.

Yes, she enjoys our sessions mightily. I never had sex with her before my implant, though, so I am not sure what her reactions would have been with me pre-E.D. or pre-implant.

I am going to guess that she would enjoy sex a bit less if my glans were not firm enough to be palpable to her vaginal opening and walls. But I am sure the erect shaft would be sufficient to produce enough enjoyment that her attitude towards me would be the same as it is now. Maybe I would have to adjust my stroking techniques or our positions to optimize our pleasures, but that is part and parcel of life.

In short, I opine that whether my glans is engorged or not, sex would be quite good after we find the optimal way to do it for whatever shape I have. This presupposes that glans SUPPORT by the implant is adequate to prevent "foldover" of the penis tip. If the head is too floppy, to unsupported, to penetrate reliably, then more accomdation would be necessary and might make a substantial difference in the enjoyment level or even make penetration problematic.

So, I will guess that whether a glans is soft or not, if it is adequately supported by the implant tips so that penetration is is easy, the "squishiness" of the glans is not an issue. In fact, a soft glans might be easier to get inside her than one fully engorged. But that support from the implant would be VERY necessary if the glans is not firm.

If your implant is done right, whatever blood flow you have to your glans before surgery you should keep after surgery.

Defiant-

Sometimes a little knowledge is worse than not knowing at all. I say this because prior to getting my implant, I didn’t really know about floppy/engorged glans. I will tell you, I do have engorgement. It does two things for me 1) it gives me 1/4 inch more 2) it still makes me feel like I’m getting a natural erection, albeit fallacy.

I don’t know about others, but my tips going deep into my glans is MUCH more important to me than engorgement. When I penetrate my wife, there is no instability. This, I assure you, is not from engorgement, but from my properly placed implant tips. If my engorgement went away, I would feel a bit sad for maybe a day, and then get over it. It is more of a psychological kick for me than anything.

Hi, I haven’t posted on here for a long while since I had my Titan implanted.
Just wanted to share my success story with regards to glans engorgment as I tried muse after I found the blood just wasn’t getting there and it just felt like I’d had my dick slammed in a door and way too painful.

I’ve at long last tried using Vitaros 300 cream and found its 100 times better with no pain like muse and a noticeable difference (especially for my wife!) and I can now have much much better sex whilst using it. Just wanted to share with you all especially on such a relevant post. Hope it helps you!
