There is a condition called a, "crossover"; where cylinders [tips] stray outside the intended corpra [ @ some point ] .

Sounds less like an accident than negligence on the part of the surgeon?
It happens, but is the duty of the surgeon to prevent or repair, I think.

I had a second revision. When I talk to the doc he said both cylinders were outside the corpora. Not crossover, the whole cylinder. I was having the second revision because it looked like the corpor was herniated and cylinder was pushing out. Also one of the tips was low and not in the gland. The cylinder had moved down a couple of weeks after surgery. When the new one doc went in he could see that the cylinder was not in the corpor. Both revision were not easy, first revision took a couple of hours the second revision took over three hours. Both were dealing with scar tissue.

I have left the doctors names off my signature because circumstances in both revision were difficult. The last revision the doc said this was one of most difficult cases he has had. Both names would be recognized by some on this site. Not the very top implanters, but well recognized.

Did you inform the local medical board/association of this Doctor's lack of skill/knowledge? It seems to me that the inability to follow the rather clear directions that come with the device FROM THE MANUFACTURER is a red flag. No more than the surgeon's lack of knowledge of the anatomy of a penis.

Both of my cylinders are outside of the corpora's In fact I have no corpora's to speak of per se. My uneven measurements have destroyed them both so that the cylinders now wander around inside at will. I had tip crossover but nursed things back into place before healing made that impossible. Dr Carrion told me he sees this all the time.

I still have both my corpora intact. Currently I also have stitches running from the middle bottom of my scrotum to 3 quarters up my dick. I also have stitches just below the head on both sides were the surgeon went in to insure that cylinder tips were in the correct place and would stay in the correct place. Also internal stitches from opening up my corpora and cleaning out scar tissue.

I'm attempting to visualize, "Both [whole] cylinders" being implanted outside of the Corpra Cavenosa; when the initial "Corprotomy" should begin with incisions directly into positively "Identified" both the Right hand and Left hand Corpra Cavenosa followed by dilating the Corpra Cavenosa through those two incisions.

Followed by dialating and measuring the corpas, then selected cylinders being inserted.

Test activations should be standard practice to detect any complications prior to final "closing".

I would be interested in the names of the doctors.
