Dead Spot

Obviously, since I didn't notice it for almost 6 months this is a non-issue. But this morning I just found a dead spot on the bottom of my shaft near the base. It's about 1 inch long and a quarter inch wide. Oddly enough it's dead center on the bottom. I know that during any surgery cutting some nerves is unavoidable. I would have expected the damage to have been closer to the incision site

I hear ya... I have several dead spots. The plastic surgeon told me that sometimes the nerves will rejuvenate but, it's been over a year now so I have my doubts. I have sensation on most of the glans.

Be lucky, after my ven ligation my complete upper shuft is numb. ( (6 months so far)

the implant most probably will take some from the other side of the shaft. glans is fine. most probably one major cutanueus nerve was cut :?

I also have at least one dead spot, right at the "top of the base of my glans". Fortunately, I have many "live spots", and my "regulars" know them. I help new girls discover them. Life is good!

Now, ... it's N0T a pecker; but a dozen years ago I cut the underside of my index finger to the bone at the bottom of the finger nail level with a razor utility knife.

It's taken a long time, however; most of the feeling has returned after an extended period of remaining numb. :o

I have this too. BUT my right side is coming back already (surgery 1/15). The body heals better than we think. Sometimes quickly. Sometimes slowly. I am having a VERY optimistic attitude on the matter. Even if the nerves dont grow back-each day tell yourself they will. Us bionic brothers have come so far why let negative thinking get in the way. By the way-it took me two years for the neurons in my brain to start growing back after years of benzodiazepine abuse. They came back 50%. But they are coming back. FINALLY
